Ta Lew Thai Bistro 2

My wife and I came in for a late lunch. Saw some great positive reviews and wanted to try. We got a little nervous when we saw the drive-thru(We thought it might end up being a generic, lifeless chain) but decided to give it a try. Came in, and the staff was very polite and patient as we looked at the menu. My wife chose the Basil Fried Rice with chicken at the native spiciness level (4), and I got the Evil Jungle Princess with crazy Thai Spicy Level (5). Food came out quickly, and the portions were really nice. We shared bites and loved all of it. Evil Jungle Princess was aromatic and lightly sour. The levels were fantastic! I had the right level of sniffles. Both of us ended up stuffed, and my wife took her leftovers home. I am very pleased with the quality at such a strange time of day for food and my wife and I will be coming back again when we're in the area.

Very nice surprise. The medium heat (3) is perfect, just enough to make your nose run! The Pad See Ew with fried tofu was very good as was the Mussamun. A definite, Will be Back!

A lovely authentic Thai restaurant. Very reasonably priced for good size portions. Lots of choice plus alcohol if needed.

Have seen a better Thai places. Half self service. Food is just ok. If you’re looking for a fantastic Thai food, better find another restaurant.

Amazing food - we love it here. Best Thai in Gilbert and queen creek. My kids constantly ask for this.

We had drunk noodle, garlic wok and red curry the dishes were very bland and veggies were overcooked

Cashew dish was amazing. The veggies were super fresh and a 3 level spice was just the right amount if kick. Portion was big. I couldn't finish it.

Wonderful food, lots of gluten free options.

I ordered the pad thai here. It is very delicious. The Asian lady at register is super nice. I will be back for sure.

This casual dining Thai restaurant is amazing. The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, the food well priced and tasted so good! Also, the sweet sticky rice with mango was the best I've had in several years. If you want to try Thai, don't pass this place up. 2 locations 😀

Got food poisoning from the red curry delivery. Never eating here again

Didn't get to eat here. I've been their first location and loved the food and service. It was 8:25pm on a Friday. The hours state they close at 10pm. We were told as we walked in that we would need to have our order to go. The dining room had people enjoying their meal and though it was more than an hour from close we are not able to dine in. Bad service and so we left. Shame.

Having to order at counter earns this place minus points, having to clean up after our great meal equals more minus points. Why do I give you a tip? Food is great. Offer up a little service, if you expect a tip.

The noodle dishes we had didn't seem to be properly stir fried in the wok - somewhat mushy. Was overly salty.

Food took a very long time to get to our table. They finally brought my wife’s food then 20 minutes later brought mine. I had ordered medium spicy but they brought it out with a huge amount of hot chili pepper dumped on it. When I asked them what the deal is,they said to just move it to the side. I will never eat here again!
