Not the best first impression of this new GilbertCocktail bar. I have to say I’m a big fan of bougie cocktails. I picked this spot specifically for that reason. I’ve been to their sister restaurant the ostrich and also the white rabbit several times and have enjoyed both those places, but this placewas pretty disappointing. I thought the vibe was cool, beautifully decorated and inviting. The hostess was lovely, our waitress was also great and did her best to help us find drinks we would like but honestly it was the menu and drinks that were a big miss, and considering it’s a cocktail bar that’s kinda the most important part. The ingredients were completely unrecognizable, aside from maybe the main liquor it was impossible to know what you were ordering. We literally had to google what was in the drink, you couldn’t even make an educated guess. They had a great Tuesday martini list on the menu but you were not allowed to order any of those any day but Tuesday. Apparently the ingredients disappear on any other day. You can’t make any substitutions if you prefer a different liquor in any of the drinks, you can get a bartenders choice if you like certain liquors, but that didn’t fair well for us ( the drink was absolutely terrible) our entire party of bougie cocktail loving ladies all agreed the drinks were meh and would not want to return.

Always a great time at this place. The atmosphere is sexy, the people are incredibly kind (Suede is the best) and the food/drinks are top notch. Also, this is the best place during the summer as they have the AC blasting and it’s nice and dark - a great escape!

Super cool spot. Great vibe. No tv. A little jazz in the background. Great drinks and fabulous bartenders. Have to try the other locations. But this place is spectacular.

Drinks- amazing Bartenders (Zach and Suede)- phenomenal Ambiance- love it Music!!!!!!! . Please change that elevator music. Some days we go in and the music is amazing. We want to stay longer because the music is so good. We hear songs that we grew up with. R&B, a little hip hop, some soul. Other days we hear elevator music that makes us want to leave after a drink. Not the vibe we are looking for. And we aren't the only ones who think this. The tables next to us stated the same thing. Total mood killer. If someone reads this. Please change that music that sounds like you are on hold waiting for a customer service representative to pick up. Would have been a 5 star review if the music was better.

The husband and I frequent here often. Great drinks, friendly bartenders with a wealth of cocktail knowledge. Love their charcuterie board and chicken francaise. Pretty much everything on their menu is delish. Their late night menu is great too! Ambiance is perfect. This is our go to for evening drinks!

Fun and great drinks. I dug the inside ambience and can totally hang there. Drinks were pricey, but well crafted. Food is from Crust next store. Highly suggest hitting it for happy hour.

From the ambiance to the service to the cocktails, this place is amazing! The inside definitely gives off the speakeasy vibes, which was so cool. The service was outstanding! They go above and beyond here to make sure the evening is special. We were blown away by how good the drinks were! We ordered the Home Recker and Pillow Talk. Both outstanding! There is plenty of space here, too, so you're not right on top of other people. Overall, it is a great place for a night out or stop to grab some drinks. Will definitely be back!

Crust does it again! The Blue Heron is the second and newest speakeasy concept by Crust Simply Italian. This speakeasy has a sexy and moody atmosphere making it perfect for date nights and girls night outs. There's plenty of table seating, bar seating, and even patio seating, still keeping everyone "hidden." The craft cocktails are excellent. My go-to is the espresso martini. Thought it's not my favorite espresso martini in the Valley, it's still a solid one. What truly sets this bar apart is the delicious Italian food from Crust next door. We love having the option of ordering small bites or full meals. The mixologists are not only talented, but also friendly. The staff are usually on point, and can recognize if they fall short. We're fortunate to have this hidden gem nearby and we'll continue to visit!

Came here for the first time last night (Saturday) because of all the hype I've seen about it on IG and the good reviews I've seen everywhere. The drinks were good, but the service was disappointing. We sat at the bar and you would think the bartenders would be super attentive noticing when your drink was empty, but sadly they did not. They hung out with the hostesses and bar backs chatting and laughing it up. Which we wouldn't have been bothered by this if they were still attentive to their customers, but it wasn't packed and the service was poor. We would've understood the slow service if it had been busy as we have both worked in a bar/ restaurant with a full service bar before. Also, I was given a chipped water glass, the chip was huge at least an inch long and they serve their water in a tall narrow glass. So, it was easily visible. Which told me they don't inspect their glasses before handing them out. It is beautiful inside!! Although, we didn't care for the loud 90's/early 2000s club music they were playing- and don't get me wrong that is my genre and I love that music, but we went there with "speak easy vibes" in mind and I feel that killed that vibe.. lastly, we ordered the tiramisu which never came out which was a bummer. The bartender did remove it from our bill after we told him we never received it.. which he never checked in with us about or followed up on which added to why we felt the service was poor. Giving 3 stars because our bartender made a really good old fashion and the Birds Eye View was unique and also very good.

Place has potential. Good music, good atmosphere. The bruschetta was pretty tasty. Where it was lacking for me was the cocktail. The bartender had a pretty heavy pour on the lemon juice in it so it was super sour and hard to get down.

Very cute little speakeasy in Gilbert. We randomly stopped by last night, and was able to order the three dots and a dash drink on their tiki Tuesday menu. It was yummy - and enough to split with my partner for the night.
