The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Gilbert

We were celebrating a birthday and everything was just as it should have been. We arrived early and enjoyed cocktails in the bar before claiming our table in the dining room. Everything we ate and drank was just right. The gruyere and mushroom dip was so good we brought the leftovers home. We enjoyed perfectly-cooked steaks that came with delicious, well-prepared vegetables and choice of potato. Two of us chose the "classic" version, which includes a salad and sautéed mushrooms. The banana-coconut pudding we had for dessert was delicious. Service was spot-on. Our server was friendly, patient, and unobtrusive. The Keg has become our familiy's go-to for special occasions. Our most recent visit further validated that choice.

The service was great, Mason was our server, our meal was outstanding! It was our 2nd wedding anniversary and they treated us very special... brought us dessert at the end of our meal, and then a glass of champagne after that!! Wow!! And they had happy hour prices until 6pm! Very reasonable prices!! Thank you for making our anniversary special!!

Food was delicious as usual. Paul provided awesome service. Looking forward to next dinner here.

Took my son to dinner after he came to visit us - outstanding meal. We were seated quickly (with reservations of course) and the meal came promptly. The service was attentive - very happy with our experience.

Always a great place to eat; clean, reasonably priced, great service, knowledgeable wait staff, high quality food and always comes out of the kitchen hot!

The keg experience was a great experience and received 10 stars. Everything was done well, service, food and atmosphere. Great job The Keg. We will be back again.

Perfect from start to finish! Prime rib cooked perfectly! Tuna tartare was one of the best I’ve had. The desert was to die for! And our service was impeccable!

So, my wife and me, came here based on a recommendation. We live in the Mesa area. Bit of a drive out of the way. First, parking-lot was chaos. The host was pleasant though. The food was...OK...at best. Over-priced...for what you get in return. The service...bad. The server was not genuine...and therefore not at all attentive...although he seemed 'attentive' to my wife...which creeped her out and made me....less calm haha. Overall, you are there to serve and have a good attitude...if you are too 'selfish' to serve...simple, find another job. Do -not- want to imagine what the server is like in the kitchen...out of customer-view...and with other co-workers. Bad service...bad employees...does affect, and reflect, business...sometimes more than 'management' realizes...or appreciates.

We opted for the lounge to eat. Oftentimes, the lounge is only "bar food", but this had the full menu, and full service. We were near one of the fireplaces, which was great, because the place from which we had just come was frigid! We had the Neptune mushrooms, the Kansas steak and the New York Strip between the 2 of us. We are embarking on a meat-based elimination diet, so we requested no sides, except butter. There was no obvious problem with our request. Everything was delicious and filled the void.

The food was fantastic especially the steak. Paul, our waiter was fantastic and very understanding. It was very crowded as it was the weekend before Christmas.

Dietary restrictions: I'm on the lion diet and it worked out pretty good.
