Absolutely EXCELLENT food! We come to Arizona three times a year, and love trying new places. We have been to over 100 different restaurants in the Phoenix area, and The Uprooted Kitchen is in our number one spot!!! Clean food with excellent flavors!!

What an amazing experience I had at this vegan establishment for my first visit. It's clear that the food is made with genuine love and care.

I ordered the Green Goddess Scramble Bowl and a Thumbprint Cookie, and everything tasted incredible! Fresh seasonal ingredients. Owners who are knowledgeable and genuinely excited about their plant-based creations.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere made my visit truly enjoyable, and I look forward to returning multiple times while I'm in the area… I’ve already returned two more times and I’m obsessed!!!!! Bring this to the Midwest.

Today was my 3rd visit here. I live in Sedona (2 hrs north) but am visiting the valley once a week for personal reasons. I am grateful to get the opportunity to now go to Uprooted more often! The first visit here was on Easter and we LOVED the Tempeh Breakfast Sandwich. The second visit was also delicious and I got some baked pastries. Today I had the “Green Goddess Scramble”.Sooo delicious! Everything is made from scratch and as a vegan, so happy it is all vegan! That reminds me, I did not see anything that had honey and desserts were made with maple or coconut sugar. Perhaps there was something a while back? But I feel this should be classified as VEGAN on HappyCow and more people would see it as well. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-18

This is the sweetest and best little plant based restaurant in the east valley! The owners are so lovely. The food is amazing and creative. You can tell they really put their heart and soul in to what they are doing. 10/10!

Amazing food, owners, and atmosphere – you can't ask for much more! The food is healthy, nourishing, and so delicious, all crafted from scratch. And their desserts look absolutely incredible too. You really can't go wrong with anything you choose here. I'll definitely be coming back.

What a gem! It was hard to choose an item from their delicious menu. The flatbread, food and green tea were winners today. Fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, even helping me with some tips for homemade gluten-free tortillas. I'm happy to have found this place and in such a beautiful setting. This will be a regular stop for me.

This place is a jewel! The food. The staff. The vibe. I was in the neighborhood and looking for a lunch stop. I have taken dairy and gluten away from my diet and this place had more options than I have seen anywhere and it was delicious and presented so nicely!

Located inside the food/retail court. Eclectic menu…along with baked goods. Ordered the chimichuri scramble and it was flavorful and filling! I’ll be back!
