I found this place via IG and I am so glad I did. I ordered a small cake for my moms 60th birthday and it was super easy.

I placed my order online, picked a pickup date and time, submitted payment, and quickly received an email confirmation.

The day finally arrived and I walked in a little past my pick up time. The one worker was helping someone else out so I glanced at the different pastries they still had available.

The café is cute. Its situated in the lobby area of the apartment complex and it feels very inviting and cozy. There were several seating spots inside and out and I was surprised to see that it was pretty busy on a Friday at 1:30pm.

Once my turn, I let her know I was picking up my cake and she took it out of the fridge. I was given some a few paper instructions on hoe to keep it fresh, cool, etc. She was also very friendly.

The cake was delicious. We all enjoyed it and it was more then enough for a small group of 5. We each had a decent slice and we still had a few slices left over. I will definitely keep coming back for some more future cakes :)

Donuts and pastries are beautiful to look at. The indoors is spacious and comfortable. They did a great job with a large order. The items I tried were too sweet for my palette, but everyone else loved them.

This was my first time at Too Sweets. As the other reviews said, parking isn't great. I actually parked at the Aldi and walked over (would be nice if the apartments reserved spots for the restaurant/bakery - hint hint).

I've never had a croissant/donut and I'll tell you; it's delicious. Looking forward to try something new the next time.I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this bakery! Have brought my family here several times and the treats are delicious. Especially for us GF and DFers
Maybe call before coming though. Showed up 15 minutes before close today and they decided to close early. ?

Obsessed with this place. Their cookie dough croissant is my new hyper fixation lol. We had a croissant donut and cupcake as well which were also amazing and my mom said their chai tea latte was the best she’s ever had!

Absolutely stellar experience with Too Sweet Cakes! From start to finish, the whole process was seamless and delightful. The cake I ordered was not only visually stunning but also tasted incredible—light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The attention to detail in the design was evident, and it was clear that the team poured their heart into crafting something truly special. Customer service was exceptional; they were responsive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure my event was memorable. If you’re looking for a cake that’s as impressive in flavor as it is in appearance, Too Sweet Cakes is the way to go. Highly recommend!

I am gluten free and dairy free and this is the most amazing place! I loved my gluten free vegan donuts and latte with almond milk and vanilla! I will make an effort any time we come down to go here! You guys made me so happy and I enjoyed every bite! My parents and husband loved the Cronuts they each picked a different flavor! So yummy! We will be back!

I heard great things about this place so I wanted to give them a try. Locating the space was easy, but parking was not, as it's inside a leasing office for an apartment complex and there are about 10 spots alongside the apartments to park in along with residents and potential residents. The reviews said it was such a vibe but I didn't get any of that when I arrived during lunch hour (11:30). The staff member that helped me seemed bothered by me being there and asking a question because it was my first time there. I got 3 different flavors of Cronuts and while the flavors were great, the texture was not. They all tasted stale and dry. It basically tasted like a day or 2 old donut to me. I love the concept and I'm sure others would argue they are amazing, but I wasn't impressed and won't go back based off my first experience unless I'm getting a GF pasty because those are harder to find.

I really wanted to love this place, but was sadly not impressed. I made the trip from Maricopa city for my birthday to get a cake, coffee and treats. It was hard finding the place because it’s inside of an apartment building. Upon walking in, I didn’t get the vibe I was going for based on what I saw on social media. The display cases were pretty much empty and all of the tables were dirty. I ordered three drinks, which did not taste good at all. I was able to snag the last cake they had for a whopping $25. When I made it home and finally had a slice, it was so dry and not enjoyable. This place was such a waste of money.

Unfortunately we didn't like this place. The iced chai was weird, just white like a cup of milk with an odd faint flavor that wasn't tea or tea concentrate, maybe just some sort of a syrup in milk? The croissants (chocolate and plain) were grocery store quality. The cronuts looked like they were going to be delicious but were soggy and dense and somehow tasted like fish oil. They went in the trash. The person waiting on us didn't smile or ask how we were, just put our stuff in a box and then we got the tip screen. The place looks really nice inside but is part of an apartment building. They sell some cute paper plates etc but nothing had prices so we didn't buy any. There weren't any open parking spots when we went.
