We ordered a lot... we tried many rolls, nagiri, sashimi, bento box, appetizers and loved it all. The highest quality tuna, salmon, yellowtail , albacore, white tuna and more. Chilled, cut and presented perfectly... finished it all off with mochi... Loved it all and would highly recommend. Also, found out their vegan options are off the charts for anyone looking for vegan options.

I've tried their sushi (salmon nigiri), and I gave them a second chance and tried their teriyaki chicken. Both tasted terrible, completely off from the familiar good taste of other places. When I called to complain, they gave zero effort to fix it.

My family absolutely loves coming to Yanagi Sushi in Gilbert! The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating, making each visit a great experience. It’s so close to home, which makes it even better. We can’t get enough of their delicious rolls, and even our picky eater 6-year-old enjoys the edamame and bulgogi beef! The service is unmatched, and we love supporting this fantastic local spot. Highly recommend!

Best vegan sushi in the valley! They have the most comprehensive vegan sushi menu I’ve seen in AZ so far. Nigiri, poke, hand rolls and more, made with 100% plant based “fish” and NOT tofu! (nothing wrong with tofu, it just can’t replace EVERYTHING) The prices are reasonable, but I try to go during happy hour only to save a few schillings. Friendly staff, tidy atmosphere and quick, efficient service. Yanagi is #1!
