We alway seek out some vegan sushi when we travel. This place was so good that we came back a second time during our trip.
They have a full vegan section of the menu. Don’t be confused about the list of ingredients, even if it says “tuna” it’s their vegan version of tuna.

Went with a party of six on a weekday night, and were seated immediately. Friendly staff. Extensive menu! A bit overwhelming. But this is likely the only spot serving up vegan sushi in the Valley. It did not disappoint. Glad the meat eaters and vegetarians in our family could enjoy Japanese food together. Even our picky preteen found something on the menu she enjoyed. Recommend the OMG roll, and the vegan pumpkin roll and playboll rolls. All were delicious.

This is my favorite restaurant for sushi. They have the most vegan sushi options I have seen in the east valley. The crunchy onion roll was perfectly savory, the tofu roll had a touch of sweet to it, and the crunchy shrimp roll was not too spicy at all. The staff is courteous and helpful and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I have also ordered takeout from here before and it met my expectations. You don’t want to miss out on Yanagi Sushi, you will not be disappointed.
