Sadly my experience was similar to the other lower reviews. Was in town and found this place and gave it a try.
Tacos were grossly lacking in meat. Almost to the point I thought it was forgotten. Beans were very runny. Lettuce browning and rice was stale.
Quality of food I'd expect from like a cafeteria where the food was sitting out all day.
$33 for 2 two taco plates. 👎

A few parking spots to the left of the building, or on the main street. Very small, brightly colored interior. It isn't immediately obvious how it all works. But, the hostess/server/cashier/bus person(?) will seat. They'll bring chips and the one type of salsa (not spicy, and without excessive cilantro). Food was excellent. Service was with a smile, but they seemed to be quickly overwhelmed by the steady stream of diners and take-outs; never did get a refill of iced tea. When done, go to the counter to pay. Somehow they keep all the orders correct! Will definitely return for dinner, maybe even make a special trip from Phoenix. Best refried beans I ever tasted (sorry Abuelita), and in the top 3 chile rellenos.
Parking: Maybe 5 spots on the side of the restaurant. Some parking on the street. Appears to be a larger lot across the street.

Great place to eat if you are in Globe, Az!!! 5 stars. We had menudo, tacos, breakfast burritos, and the #8 (tamale and enchiladas). Our noses are running and we are so content and happy. ? very clean and friendly staff. Food is delicious and well prepared. Loved it!!!!

Customer service: Excellent. Very friendly and communicated the menu effectively.
Cost: Excellent. Fair and Equitable to other restaurants in the area.
Food: Absolutely amazing. Street tacos were awesome even though they had run out of carne asada. Rice and other condiments were excellent.
Salsa: Excellent. Delicious with no extra costs. However you must request the hotter salsa. House salsa is good to taste, but not if your looking for a kick.
Handicap Accessible: Excellent. Although the restaurant is small it will accommodate a wheelchair.
Parking: Limited business parking, however there is street parking that will accommodate handicap vehicles.
Military Friendly: Didn't ask, so I'll ask at my next visit.
Recommendation: Highly recommend visiting El Ranchito. Great food and customer service.
Atmosphere: Excellent. The colors and artwork are beautiful and the restaurant is kept very clean.
Kid Friendly: Excellent.
