I'm not a big fan of take home containers for plates and plastic silverware. Combination #5 gives you a burro, taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. None of them are up to Globe Mexican standards. Chips tasted more like Doritos. I won't go back.

Cheese enchilada and machaca taco were wonderful. Great salsas and not only corn but my favorite. flour tortilla chips. Free refills on drinks is a plus. Very quick and friendly service. Clean place. Thank you!

We were recently in the Globe area for a few days after an absence since the late 1970's. We anticipated going to El Rey since it was our go to Mexican restaurant back then. Time and Covid hasn't been kind. The food was nothing like we remembered. Aluminum pans don't help but regardless the cheeseless cheese enchiladas; disappointing taco presentation and a thin layer of beans doesn't add up to a satisfying experience. Maybe our tastes have changed or the new owners have a different style. The service was rushed but good. Sorry but we will not be returning.

Greatest little secret of Globe, AZ. Welcoming family and amazing food. I ate here almost 7 times while here for work, and I still didn't get enough! The owner is so kind and staff is so welcoming. You won't regret it!

Wow, just a big disappointment. Served in aluminum take out pans, produce wasn't fresh, taco shell must have been microwaved because it was too chewy to bite off. Nothing good to report except that the waiter was friendly.

Nice small restaurant in the heart of Globe, staff were very friendly and pleasant! We had been wanting to find some good authentic Mexican food while down for vacation, and we definitely found it! The food tasted just like I was at a Mexican cook out! I cannot say enough good about the food! The chips and salsa were great! Got a mixture of 2 kinds of chips along with a mild and spicier salsa! Highly recommend!!

Manager was horrible to us. Stating she had a bad morning, she chose to take it out on us, yelling at us and demeaning us when we started asking about the menu. We had great things to say about them before, but we do not wish to be treated like that, always wondering if they're in a bad mood which might mean our food or service will be compromised. Menu didn't describe what the menu items actually were, and the food was very poor quality. It is not authentic. The only thing that was good was the rice and beans. The while time the owner /manager was loud and talking about personal topics.

My husband and I were denied access to the inside of the restaurant and would only be allowed in the patio because I had my service dog (trained for medical) with me. This is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is being reported to the ADA.
