Looking for a great meal and ended up with a full belly, sleepy and highly entertained by a wonderful staff. Great atmosphere! You won’t be disappointed.

We've been eating at Kari's (& El Rey Cafe) in Globe for many years on our way up to the White Mountains... LOVE the food, prices, speedy service & friendly waitresses (& esp. their dog-friendly patio!)!

No AC or fans. It was really hot inside the restaurant.Service was good.It would be nicer if the waitress was wearing shorts that didn't show her butt cheeks..Most likely will not return to this restaurant..

I've been here several times and the food is good but the building is run down , the seating is rickety and uncomfortable. It looked like staff had family visiting and they were loud. Bathroom had no paper towels. I just wanted to get out.

I placed a pick up order, was told to wait 30 mins and it would be ready. I got to the restaurant and paid, waited another 25 minutes. The lady in the front finally asked for my name again to check on my Togo order as everyone else in the place had their food. Finally she comes back saying they don’t have chicken. I ordered a chimichanga with chicken and tacos. Didn’t offer anything off the bill for the wait or for not having what I ordered, not like I was needing it but a simple ‘sorry about that’ would have helped even. this was my first experience there and I was excited to try it but I sadly will not be back.

It was our first time eating here and we were thoroughly impressed. Friendly wait staff, yummy food and very reasonably priced. They don’t nickel and dime you and even gave us a Dr Pepper to go with no charge. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to all.

Kari's is a small restaurant, but not usually crowded. Most items on the menu are relatively cheap. The only drawback was that I ordered a side of guacamole and it did not come out well. It was brown and dark green, looking like they used whatever was left over from the day before. Other good things include their nacho fries, which thankfully, have little in common with the item from Taco Bell with the same name. Also the service is good. All in all, it's worth checking out; just avoid the guacamole.

The food was fine, my issues lies in the fact that I was attempted to be over charged for my meal. When I questioned the waitress she said it was likely the tax and credit card fee. I did the math in front of her and she redid the ticket and said it was supposed to be X amount. I broke down the charges again and said it should be closer to this amount. She finally rang me up for a much lesser amount that it was originally supposed to be. No explanation or clarification. Fishy.

I was not to happy with the food in the past but it has taken a 180% turn for the better I don't know if they changed cooks or changed up their ingredients but food is great service a little slow but not bad.

It was busier than usual due to competitor being closed. Service was mediocre. Surroundings cramped. They were out of spicy salsa but finally made more to give us with chips. The SPECIAL, "BEEF TACOS" was awful. It wasn't ground beef but "canned beef" yuk! It looked like canned dog food and didn't taste much better...(I thought they ordered black bean tacos at first because it looked like smashed beans). My friend sent hers back and got chicken tacos. Not must better due to lack of seasoning. My son choked down one beef taco and left the rest. He was grossed out. I ordered Machaca tacos and it was very good.

I had the best chicken chimi I think I've ever had. It was crispy not oily and the tortilla kept everything soft. Beans were perfect and I don't normally like refried beans... Salsa was hot, flavorful, and delicious. Chips were good, I just think those chips could've been less oily. I'd go again and very nice staff. Excellent spot in Globe to grab some dinner.

I've been eating Mexican food all my life in Globe. Karis Copper Cantina is my new go to. Best green chile and adovada among other things. El Rey has been revived. I call it El Reina, she's got it figured out over here.Good big portions it always makes me want to go back.

Authentic food that is very flavourful. Beans and rice are very tasty sides to all of the main dishes. Green chilies chicken enchiladas, the Kari Special fajita burrito and the machaca tacos were all quite tasty. Definitely recommend!
