La Luz Del Dia Cafe is a highly recommended restaurant with the best breakfast in town, excellent fries, and top-notch customer service. The hole-in-the-wall spot serves fantastic food that exceeds expectations, especially the french toast, gigantic pancakes, and breakfast burritos loved by kids and adults alike. The friendly staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and satisfied.
Though not a beautiful place, it’s a nice little diner with limited seating that stays full—a good sign. Many return customers are familiar with the employees, and the waitresses are quick, pleasant, and know the menu well. The food comes out fast despite the warning it may take time. The chorizo and eggs with beans and hash browns are a standout, along with the fluffy yet crispy pancakes. A true old-school diner experience, it’s worth your while for breakfast and lunch before they close early.
