I would give zero stars if possible. I called to inquire about New Years day brunch and was told there was a brunch in the AM and one from 11-2 pm. I made a reservation and arrived and there was nobody there. There was a breakfast brunch that ended at 10:30 am and nothing else, so whoever I spoke to, was NOT informed. The people working here were helpful, courteous and that is why there are two stars, not one. This is not a resort, end of story. Rooms are dark, sparse, worn, and yes, dirty too. Very odd place since it seems the fixes to bring it up to snuff just need a designer to walk through and point them out. Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa is a lovely little place, it is a little off the beaten path in you live in the valley, but I'll tell you it is well worth it! The employee's that work on the grounds are very sweet and caring. I haven't had much in the way of food or playing golf but me and my wife are very keen on the spa.
