A Dream Wedding at Gold Canyon Golf Resort! We cannot say enough good things about our wedding at Gold Canyon Golf Resort! From the stunning views of the Superstition Mountains to the warm, inviting atmosphere, everything about this venue was perfect — but what truly made our experience exceptional was our day-of coordinator, Charlene. Charlene went above and beyond in every possible way. She didn’t just feel like a day-of coordinator — she felt like a full-on wedding planner. Her attention to detail, calm energy, and dedication to making everything run smoothly allowed us to fully enjoy our day without stress. She was truly magical to work with, guiding us through every step and making sure every moment was special. Our ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and the entire team at Gold Canyon was helpful and professional from start to finish. We’re so grateful to have had such a gorgeous venue and a rockstar coordinator in Charlene — we’ll be raving about our wedding for years to come! I don’t even know where to begin on explaining how PERFECT our wedding day was. The views of the Superstition Mountains were breathtaking in the backdrop of our ceremony. We did some hiking the day before on the trail behind the resort which was great. Rehearsal dinner and welcome party was amazing on site. So convenient for us and guests staying there. From the start Gold Canyon provided all the essentials from chairs, tables, linens, silverware, plates, place settings, down to the votive vases for our tables. So much stress taken off the bride with the venue providing so much! The food was EXCELLENT, guests raved about the wedding meal( filet, and chicken). Guests even raved about the main restaurants meals since some came in a couple days before the wedding. And I completely agree. Delicious food and amazing service all around from all of the staff. The bridal suite was also very clean and beautiful! Plenty of space for getting ready! Everyone had prepared me to expect mishaps and little road bumps on the day of, but there were NONE! The day was perfect and we have Charlene to thank for that. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Charlene, our day of coordinator. Throughout the whole year of planning she was very responsive and took care of our every request and need. The day of went flawlessly because of Charlene’s experience with the venue and she is just brilliant! She has such a calming manor and helped ease my stress as she took care of everything. She arrived at the bridal suite on the morning of to collect all my items for the venue and had everything set up for the evening which looked beautiful once I got to step foot in the reception hall. She carted us around with our photographers for sunset pictures and knows all the perfect spots for gorgeous photos in the desert landscape. She even snapped some beautiful candid photos along the way for us! She is the most sweet, organized, talented, calm, and hard working coordinator there is! 100/10 recommend having your perfect wedding day at Gold Canyon Golf Resort and Spa :)

Smoked mac n cheese and burger were good...

Waitress seemed overwhelmed even though the dining was sparse; she took our order then later returned to take it again, confused and still trying to hand a menu when we said she already took it. Didn't once refill my water. Drunk obnoxious people in the dining room.

Tried to go for the breakfast buffet the next morning but the place was deserted with the food sitting out. Waited around at the restaurant desk only for no one to show... save yourself the trouble and go down the road to Two Sister's Cafe. Great food and excellent service there, we even went back the next morning.

Had dinner on the ledge and it was amazing! Heard the resort had introduced new menu items and they did not disappoint. As a local, I like supporting local and family owned businesses. The staff is welcoming and fun, even with a new point of sale system, they made the experience unforgettable in the best way! Will be back soon and will bring some friends to introduce you my favorite place in Gold Canyon! Thanks to Monica and Sandy for all they do for the guest experience!

We were there for a pre-wedding party and the staff was great. They seemed overwhelmed, but I learned that a new computer system had been installed that day. I was in the restaurant business and considering they were trying to learn a new system and make drinks for the patrons they did it with a smile and kept everyone happy. Well done! Also the drinks were great as well as the food. Overall the staff is what makes an establishment successful. They were great! 🙂

Wasn’t a good experience. Had a long brown hair in my food. The Reuben was too sweet. Fries were good though. Took about 10 mins for anyone to notice me standing there waiting to pick up my food. And for a fancy golf course they sure had some loud drunk customers at like 11am on a Monday. Not going back for an overpriced sandwich. Prices made me feel like I was at an airport.

I stopped in to grab takeout lunch for my wife and I and was so impressed! The food was really delicious and prices are very reasonable. What really caught my eye was the vibe of the place. The indoor space was bright and modern, and the outdoor area looks like a perfect spot to relax during the evenings. We’ll definitely be back for weekend cocktails. Highly recommend checking them out.

Very disappointed with our steaks. We ordered 2 filet mignon dinners med rare. They came out well done.They made us to new steaks dinner's, one was med well and the other one was so tough we couldn't even cut it and we did not eat it. We were there to celebrate our birthdays.
We won't go back. Our sever was very nice and apologetic and did not charge us for the one meal.?

Mmmm the ribs!!
I will be the first to admit I hate golf and golfers and avoid golf courses like the plague BUT! We saw GCGR had a Sunday rib special so we decided to try but with mashed potatoes and veggies to go!
The ribs fell off the bones and the potatoes I inhaled. ?
Locally in the Valley there are a few really well known yummy BBQ places but the sides tend to be ..meh and good BBQ is never cheap. Now I can honestly argue Gold Canyon has yummy ribs for a great price and better mashed potatoes!
