The waiter was quick and responsive, the food came fast. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my brother ordered the burger. The quesadilla was good it came with salsa which was good and guacamole which was unseasoned which seems like a trend around the southwest. The burger was good: the patties were good and the fries were top notch. For desert, we ordered the berry cheesecake which was one of the best I've ever had. The quesadilla was really crispy same for the fries. The berry compote which came for the cheesecake was top notch. The cafe was cozy and the seating was good. Would highly recommend. The atmosphere was good, not too many people. It was quiet.

Loved learning the history of Harvey House Cafe! The dining experience was great, with excellent food choices buffet style. I especially enjoyed watching the train circle about the entire restaurant.

Great place for an early dinner after 6+ mile hike to the bottom of the canyon and back. Service was outstanding. The food was good and ok, depending on item.

I plate of food was cold and the other was overcooked. Not sure how you mess up biscuits and gravy and an omelet. Asia was a great waitress though.

Hostess got us sat right away while asking us where we were from and if we were enjoying the canyon. Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly! Food was delicious!! Dad got the double cheeseburger with just the right amount of char, sister got the dip which had perfectly toasted bread, and I had the southwest ceasar salad with chicken. Perfectly dressed and even the half portion was plenty of food!

Easy to get a spot. Tamales were great though rice a bit undercooked. Apple crisp also super yummy. Service very accommodating. Underrated place!

Mediocre food but excellent service. Ate both dinner and breakfast here. The pot roast was a very small portion for the price and nothing special. The southwest Caesar salad was unique and tasted pretty good, while the molten chocolate cake for dessert was pretty great. Biscuits and gravy were good but the huevos rancheros eggs were flavorless and the tortillas tasted stale.

Our waiter at dinner was amazing! He was funny and helpful, digging up a chocolate cake for us even though he thought they had sold out. He also chased us down when we forgot our credit card after paying the bill. Thank you!!

Food was hit or miss, which seems to be standard for this trip.

-long island iced tea was very good but cost $20
-fish and chips were fresh, crispy -tartar sauce was good
-coleslaw was disappointing, lacked any flavor at all
-Kids cheese burger was standard
-fries were fresh and crispy
-Ceasar salad was subpar
-Dinner salad was fresh
-ranch was good
-vinegarette was a bit on the Dijon side, but good

No complaints about service
We were seated right away

Come here for an awesome dining experience with the old log construction! The Bison Burger was top notch. All the food was delicious and was delivered to our table in a timely manner. The whole experience was epic!

Views of the Canyon. The service was good, albeit a bit slow, but the food was terrible. I got the Southwest bowl and my friend got the fish and chip.

Once you find the place, it's very nice with good service and solid food at reasonable prices... Remember you're in the Grand canyon so it's not going to be inexpensive.

We decided to graze on several appetizers which were absolutely terrific and made for a light lunch with great conversations

Be warned- it is incredibly difficult to find this place. There is no signage on either side of the building and it is buried back behind a gift shop.

There is a cocktail lounge just past the gift shop, in the lobby where you pick up tickets for various things. This little cocktail lounge is where they send people to wait for their table. It's a quick wait and not sure that I would have had a cocktail. We just peruse the gift shop.

There's a hidden hallway between the gift shop and the cocktail lounge. A good 20 yd to wear the cafe is.

Once you get there, it's definitely worth it. But they are obviously pushing the steakhouse and the higher priced fair there. This Cafe is very nice and has nice views. Terrific staff and good food. But be prepared for a little bit of an adventure to find it
