While they didn’t have a large number of vegan options, there were a few. I had the protein bowl with tofu and it was quite good. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-27
I usually give good reviews but the food was terrible. Burnt hamburgers and dry buns and it took forever to get our food. The salad was good though and the servers were great.

Zucchini was limpid, rice uninspired and over seasoned, trout was delicious. Spaghetti meatballs also overcooked pasta with sauce that tasted like it came from a jar. Tamales were suitably spicy and met requirements but nothing like mom would make. But the wait staff! My god, rarely have I been waited on in a restaurant like this to this level. Right on top of our drinks, noting preferences without having to be asked! Chef’s kiss. Too bad about the food.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant they have in this little section of 5-6 different places to eat. Food was made to order, fresh, and we both liked everything we had. My wife had the burrito and I had a chicken sandwich and those were both great. Service was also very good and everyone was kind.

Staff was incredible, the restaurant was cozy and well run. The salad was over $25 and it just wasn’t great. I would order the half salad if I had it to do over again. The rest of the food was good.

For a Resturaunt at a national park the food was good. Had the soup and salad and the kids had dessert. Everyone was satisfied.

Food portion was very generous - one portion could almost definitely be shared between two people. For breakfast, we had and really enjoyed the ‘country skillet’. The dinner items we had were also fine - the steak was good, but the others were okay.
The servers in the morning during breakfast were beyond lovely, full of positivity and helpfulness. Servers during dinner time were fine, slightly less visible for help if needed compared to the breakfast servers.

The waiter guy( sorry didn't catch his name) understands and compassion about my daughter's peanut allergies and makes sure it is safe by checking with cooker or he checking himself.. Asking if we need anything along with us eating our dinner.
Kid-friendliness: My kids like their chicken nuggets and all of us like the French Fries.
Absolutely horrible spaghetti plate. Meatballs are frozen l, include pork. Tough. Garlic bread soaked in butter.

One of the only places in the Grand Canyon Village where you can find vegan food. There was a vegan burrito and a Southwest protein bowl (which had tofu, quinoa, and veggies). The Southwest protein bowl was overly salty. It will sate your hunger after a long hike, but don't expect anything gourmet. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the village and the atmosphere was cozy.

Wife and I are staying in the village and went to eat dinner here - no wait, got sat down fairly quickly and had our drink order taken and served almost immediately. Wife got coffee and it was cold like it had been sitting out since breakfast. That was rectified and we ordered dinner. Wife got the fish and chips, and the fish was cold/undercooked (one felt like it was barely unfrozen). Ended up getting comped a free dessert by the waiter, but it was overall a pretty rough experience for how much we paid for the meal and how much we're paying Xanterra to stay on their property. Add to that the fact that it's not peak season, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and there were a large number of hosts, wait staff, and bussers standing in groups gabbing out in the open and milling about - this place seemed poorly managed. Don't get me wrong, the staff was friendly, but if you have a bunch of people without stuff to do, get them something to do or at least get them out of sight of your customers so when mistakes happen it looks like a one off instead of it looking like no one's running the ship.
Another weird thing - we had a busser, not our waiter, take our drink orders and serve us upon being seated. The waiter only came to the table to take our food order and then served the food. That seems uncommon to me. Then we had three different bussers come to ask us if we needed refills at different points (uncertain if this was due to the mistakes with my wife's orders or random, but based on the staffing levels, seemed more likely people trying to find stuff to do). Again, poor management of staff and likely a failure up the chain of command at a few levels. I don't recommend this restaurant.

R had the bison burger and I had the hot honey chicken sandwich minus onion add bacon
We got here shortly after 12:00pm and we were instantly seated . It is Feb - the off season so that may be why.
Its been steady in and out of folks while we have been here.
The bison burger was good. Could use some more seasoning and a bit of mayo or something.
The hot honey chicken sandwich was good. The hot of the honey is more of a build on the back end and not really adding to the flavor.
The honey made it really sticky. And it drips so watch it.
Even with the honey on the chicken, It too could have used mayo or some type of sauce. Bread rather dry.
Was most disappointed with the fries . They are served in this little fry basket looking thing. I had told the server that I would like my fries hot. He said yes/ok. They were not hot.
More like tepid?
Cute presentation of rather cold chewy fries that tasted like they had spent way too much time under a heat lamp.
They could have fired up my fries at the same time as my sandwich. I'm sure they would have tasted good hot. Just disappointing.
Service was ok. We had 3 different people.
