Great location, good food, but pretty pricey for some pretty basic options. Staff was good, you order at the bar and it's delivered, and staff was good about bussing/clearing. For some reason the bar only had 3 soft drink options, but the attached dining hall had numerous options in self-service machines. We were told to refill there.
Bartenders also work as food servers, food is pretty good, and came out quick, nice and friendly to
Fast food quality at restaurant prices. Very slow service.
The pulled pork is really good!
I had the elk burger ant the tacos and honestly the tacos were overpriced and were not enough food especially for the price, the elk burgers on the other hand were fairly priced and honestly delicious, would order again. The waitress was nice, fast and our food came out quickly, but the guy taking our order was not very nice and made the order process feel unwelcoming.
Overall food was good but overpriced and environment was okay.
I saw menu photos where they had several vegan options. They don’t anymore, except chips and salsa. I had a heavily changed impossible burger (lettuce buns lol, no cheese, no sauce) and chips. It was ok but sad that they removed the vegan options.
Very cozy dining room. Service was great and food was delicious for being in a national park. We went for lunch and got seated by the window looking at the Grand Canyon. I had the lunch special quiche with a cup of their French onion soup and my husband got the spicy sausage sandwich which he really enjoyed. If you'd like to have dinner there I would recommend making reservations.

Had a 14 dollar drink that was undrinkable. Tried mixing it was just pure lemon or lime juice. The lion king looking arrogant bartender did even ask what was wrong! Just dumped it and charged us for a new beer. When I looked at him and said really, he said “please and thank you”. They know they are untouchable , tourist will always come. Frustrating.

Ordered a pizza and have been waiting since 30 mins now. Service pretty slow unfortunately
Update: Patio closed
Prepare to stand in line, and stand in line, and stand in line again. There must be a better way for visitors to order food and beverages.
Past visits the food was decent. Recently we ordered the nachos, threw them away. Unappetizing. The patio is dog friendly-cudos on that.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had Elk sandwich and Chicken cheese pizza. The elk sandwich is one of the best I've had in my life. The good is bit pricey. ~$20 per person. The atmosphere is somewhere between a sports bar and a restaurant. The person who took our order was not very warm. Not sure if she had a bad day or she hates having brown people in here. Nevertheless, ignoring that, recommend this place for the Elk sandwich.

Great place, not only for beers, but GREAT food.
We only shared the chicken, mushroom, cheese pizza and chips and salsa.
Heated up the chips in the microwave in the dining hall, the salsa tasted HOMEMADE!
Saw the burger going to another table! I think it's coming to my table TOMORROW!
Had a 22oz Mother Road Tower Station IPA. ABU 7.3%, IBU 70. Hoppy good!
Quaint location to wind down from the 4 1/2 hour drive from Las Vegas!
