We visited some relatives who live in this community while on vacation from Wisconsin. They seem to really enjoy this place and they tried their best to encourage us to buy a place here ourselves. While getting the grand tour, we stopped here for lunch. Apparently the bar area is more casual. We still appreciated the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I had the Arizona chicken sandwich and my wife had the Cobb salad and both were very good. A nicely blended margarita helped the experience. Too bad this place is so far from Phoenix.

The food has really improved over the five years I've visited this restaurant. On Fridays, they have the best clam chowder I've had since leaving Seattle. Portions are plentiful and the service is friendly and efficient.

Wasn't that busy, but had to wait a half hour at our table before anyone even came to greet us.

Food is generally good, but we don't care for the menu changes. No more chicken fried steak for example. Our last visit to the Grill, food was very slow coming out even though it wasn't extremely busy. So slow, that they had to change the on-site concert time to start 10 minutes late so people could get in before the show started. Not sure why the kitchen was slower than usual. Very disappointing.

Absolutely horrible! After my wife and I were seated our waitress Patricia introduced herself and that was the last we saw of her. A young man, not one of the servers came to take our drink order and told us that Patricia was swamped, yeah, taking care of a large party who arrives AFTER us (seeking a larger tip, no doubt). So he took our food order. When it arrived, they brought the wrong meal for my wife. Rather than let my food get cold, I proceed to eat, expecting hers woul arrive promptly. Not! I was nearly finished when my wife cancelled her order (they did bring it as a take out) and we left. I have had numerous bad experiences here and this will definitely be the last. Avoid this place.

Located within a gated community The Grill at Quail Creek surpassed all our expectations. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Big comfortable chairs a well appointed bar and spectacular food. Service is attentive, informative and very caring by both food and beverage. Dishes ordered by our table included: Meatloaf, Fish and Chips, Cuban Reuben and Butternut Squash Tacos. We also ordered a bottle of Malbec and 4 glasses of Tequila. Everyone loved the food and the homemade chips with the house dipping sauce was insanely delicious. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The chips were as stated earlier, outstanding and the coleslaw was also very tasty. The only criticism is the wine list. Too many overproduced weak ass Safeway style wines. Upgrade the wine list and I have zero complaints. We are looking forward to our next visit. Many things on the menu I need to try.

Nice place, good food. Wish the waitstaff were a little more excited about their job though they did what they had to do and weren’t rude, but some enthusiasm is always appreciated.
