We had an amazing dinner this evening. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the salmon and vegetables were outstanding. We topped it off with peach pie, which was every bit as tasty as the meal.

Wife and I split a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Perhaps the best cheeseburger we've ever had. Fries were excellent. Service was excellent.

Epic rudeness and nonexistent service!
Was seated at a table and ignored for 5 minutes. Flagged down a waitress and politely asked if she was our server. Response: I don't know. After another 5 minutes I pointed out that others had been seated after us and their orders taken, while we were being ignored. Response: you can leave if you want. Which we did.

Great food. Stopped in recently and we were greeted by Sandy, she is one of the owners. We asked where we could purchase the Molly Butler sweatshirt that she was wearing and she said that they were currently out of stock. Sandy literally gave me the sweatshirt off her back!!! Talk about great customer service! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We had to wait, but we made no reservations so we expected that. So while we waited we saw the elk across the way, hummingbirds, so quaint. We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and our friends 49th birthday so it was a great day. Thank you for making a great memory and celebrating with us. 💕🇺🇲🕷

I’m 64 and have been eating, the same exact thing, Molly’s Special Steak, every, single, summer, since I was 12. I’ve never left so much as a smidge of steak or gravy on the plate, ever. Our most recent, and most likely last, visit, it was completely inedible. The steak, ALWAYS grilled, ALWAYS amazing, was GREY, looked and tasted like it has been BOILED, then every piece, individually stamped with grill marks! 🤮 Grey…boiled….steak with drawn on/stamped grill marks? 🤮 It was absolutely DISGUSTING. I was barely able to gag down 2 bites. They weren’t busy, at all, so when we called the waitress over, asked if there “was a mistake” in the kitchen…we were surprised at how incredibly rude she was when she said she’d “been working here a year and a half, that’s the way it’s always been cooked and no one else has complained”, then walked away from the table! Didn’t see her again until she dropped off the tab. I’ve never stiffed a server, so 15% from me, is a horrible tip and I only left that much because the busser gal was really sweet. Had it not been Sandy’s birthday celebration, I would’ve called her over but it was clear the waitress didn’t care and wasn’t going to do anything about it, so I scraped the gravy and stamped grill marks off of the grey, boiled, tasteless, steak, and gave it to the pregnant cat, out front, under the stairs. Grey, boiled, steak with stamped grill marks? Pass on that absolutely disgusting abomination. Looks like we’re heading down to Charlie Clark’s for steak from now on.
Terrible food. I had the Reuben sandwich. It was a couple of slices of dry, leathery meat on rockhard rye bread with some sort of slaw. The fries were out of the freezer, not even real potatoes. My friend had the prime rib French dip. He said it was much better when he was there a couple years before. Some old crotchety rancher lady stood at our table rambling on about how she wants to kill all the wildlife around her ranch. Took about 20 minutes to even get a glass of water. Subpar over priced bar food. I wouldn’t eat there again.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner there yesterday, November28, 2024. The food was scrumptious (inadequate of a description, but words really can't do this menu justice). We had butternut squash soup topped with roasted pecans (could have just had the soup it was so good), ham (which melted in your mouth), turkey, green been casserole (fresh green beans), sweet potatoe casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, a dinner roll and pecan pie. Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly. The portions were big enough that I ate my fill and brought home a container of food. The food (ham, turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing and dinner roll) was this morning's breakfast for my husband and me. I will mention we sat with Wink and Gerald. Wink is the great niece of Molly Butler who started the lodge. Sandy and Irene were the perfect, friendly and fun hosts. They, Sandy and Irene, own and manage this historic restaurant. The
experience of eating at such a historic lodge is to be treasured. The scenery
is beautiful just in case you wondered. I saw the desert bighorn sheep about 2 miles before the lodge on the road from Rt 260.

In town visiting my parents who are in Greer full time, we went to Molly Butlers last Saturday and it was incredible. Everything was amazing! The scenery as you wait for your table, the cozy atmosphere inside, so perfect! Make reservations, they get very busy, or plan on waiting for a table! Absolutely worth it, and I cannot wait to come back again.

Got to the restaurant early for dinner, 5:30 and there was an hour wait for 3. Not a huge problem, we went and got drinks, the flavor was on point but the martinis were halfway filled for $14 a piece... We got seated and ordered the prime rib, baked potatoes, and salads. The salad was tiny, the potatoes tasted like literally nothing, and the prime rib was seasoned with something disgusting. Don't get the 1/4 tsp of cheese in your potato or they'll charge you $2 extra. Overall a terrible experience, will not return. Must just be the only halfway decent place around to get the crowd, I DO NOT understand the draw to this place.
