Ordered carry out for two at closing. Back at the cabin realized the order had an error and we were over charged for a side (Food was just OK).

Called to report the issues several days later (delay due to our elderly dog passing away that same night) and was given a hard time. I was told repeatedly by the manager that I should have known to call after closing since they were still there (really?). I was asked, I bet you ate the incorrect food, didn't you? (Wow). I was also asked if I asked for refund on the cabin since we checked out early to get the dog to a vet (Wow again). Just unprofessional.

When asked what I wanted to do about it and I asked for a half refund on the incorrect salad. I was told no and would received a $2 or $3 refund. She said she would mail me a check with that amt, along with the overcharge.

Rendezvous is definitely a favorite for me and my family. We make sure to visit every time we are in Greer. The staff is always so welcoming and they deliver a level of service that is hard to find elsewhere. The food comes out quick and tastes amazing.

It was raining and cold. We were seated at the little table right inside the door. It was cold sitting there not to mention, you are in the way of everyone coming in and out. A table two steps away from us was vacated and we asked the waiter if we could move. He said that would be fine… Just let him wipe off the table. We were moving our utensils, napkins, and drinks over to the other table when the hostess/waitress with a lesion on her lip came in and threw a fit. She said that table was for someone else. She stormed outside and LOUDLY announced to the people that she had them a table, but it was taken by someone else. It was very rude and intentionally said loud enough for us to hear. Her behavior was extremely condescending and inappropriate. Being in the restaurant business, we would never treat our patrons that way. I was so sick to my stomach, I couldn’t eat my lunch. No customer should ever be made to feel that way. We were regulars. We drive a long way to eat lunch there. That woman will never have a chance to treat us that way again. From what I read on these reviews, the owner herself is rude. Terrible service. We have been to Greer since to eat and went to the restaurant a little further down the road. The service was fantastic, as was the food. Perhaps some customer service training is in order. Customer service starts at the top.

We have been coming here for years. Unfortunately the food quality has gone down. The apple pie alamode was still very good. I think if you come for the a piece of pie and enjoy the small porch to eat its a memorable experience. Neither of what we ate was in the least tasty. Fish and chips and reuben sandwich were not good at all. The bill was over $50 with ice teas and pie.

Greer is limited on dining choices, but don't pass Rendezvous. Only down side, it's only a breakfast and lunch place. Hearty servings and moderate price. Nice overlook of the little Colorado Valley in Greer.

When we showed up, we had to wait outside for over 10 minutes just to be seated even though they had open tables. When we asked to sit outside at a table, they told us that the empty table was unavailable. So they took us inside and set us all the way in the back next to the bathroom. So the entire time while I got to eat my lunch for my birthday that my wife took me to. I watched everyone else go in and out using the bathroom that we were sitting next to. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was obviously fried in old grease. The serving of french fries was barely even enough to feed my four-year-old maybe a dozen small french fries the size of my pinky finger. This was supposed to be the best place in town to eat obviously, they’re trying to make as much money as they possibly can by not even giving me a half a serving of french fries with the fish and chips that I paid over $20 for When I asked for more lemons, the girl brought me a cup with slices of lemon, the size of my thumb. Again, I guess they’re trying to make as much money as possible by not serving you full portions of food. I was going to say something about the serving of French fries, but my wife asked me not to. There was no point in asking to move anywhere else besides right next to the bathroom of people in and out of there and it’s smelling super bad. Because there was no other tables available, even though people weren’t sitting at other tables. Do not recommend go next-door to the other restaurant.
