When we walked in the girl at bar told us to sit anywhere, then we got scolded by the hostess/waitress to go back up front to wait and be seated. Then she seated us right where we were headed to sit before we got scolded. I ordered a grilled chicken club. The chicken was approximately 3 bites. Hardly any chicken at all. It was about 3 inches by 3 inches and maybe a quarter inch think. We paid 28 dollars for this sandwich that had barely any meat and french fries with ice tea. Very disappointed. Will never eat there again.

The Red Onion Is a long time favorite eating and meeting place here in HO. The staff is like family and the food is always plentiful and delicious. Burgers, steaks and wings! But in my opinion the best FISH FRY ON THE MOUNTAIN! Never disappointed. See you there!

We love going to the Red Onion every time we come up to our home in H-O. The staff is always so great and personable. The prime rib and shrimp dinners are off the chart amazing. The staff treats you like home, always have a smile, hustle, and make sure you have a great experience. We will be there tonight in fact.

Had the prime rib special and it was great! That new rub is top-notch and it was cooked perfect. The server was spot on and attentive. Will definitely be back.
We have been dining at the Red Onion since the new Owners, Mary and Chris took over. My family absolutely love their good, whether it's a burger, their famous fried mushrooms or a fish fry, we've never had a bad meal here. Cold beers and they make an EXCELLENT long Island iced tea. We refer all our friends and guests to eat and get a cold one at The Red Onion!

Honestly I would give a higher review but personally it took almost an hour for our food to come out. When the food decided to come out it was very dry. The waitress rarely checked on us or really anyone. And I have a huge complaint with the menu there is hardly any description on the items and you have to be very precise with you allergies to make sure your food will not give you an allergic reaction. We arrived at 2pm on Saturday
