This was our first time going today. And we will be back!!! We couldn’t believe how friendly and welcoming they were. And the food was honestly just like home cooking. Such a cute and clean cafe. We loved it. Like I said, we will be back💕!

5 stars! Ponderosa Cafe in Heber, AZ, truly exceeded my expectations! The food was excellent, and the customer service was top-notch. I had the eggs benedict with hash browns, and it was absolutely delicious - the eggs were perfectly poached, and the hash browns were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Heber, look no further than Ponderosa Cafe!

If you’re ever in Heber, I highly recommend stopping by Ponderosa Café. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My kids and I all have gluten sensitivities, so eating out is usually stressful, but they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Knowing we could enjoy a safe meal together made the experience even better. Between the tasty food, the kind staff, and the peace of mind, Ponderosa Café is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to again and again.

Showed up Monday morning at 10. Out of all breakfast items. Then after waiting 10 minutes they tell us out of burgers also. 4 people only bring 2 sets of silverware. Waitress seemed like first day on job. Food sat under warming tray for 10 minutes. Cook rang bell 3 times while she was on her iPad. I had the cheese steak for 17.00 maybe 2 tablespoons of meat and burnt. Wife had crispy chicken and chicken was so thin. Total cost was over 50.00. Took 1.5 hours. Never again.
This is my go-to stop when I pass through Heber. The food is always excellent, the service is even better, it's just a great place, stopped by today with my dog and got a pup patty for her and the buffalo chicken wrap with fries for me. Perfect.

We tried this place for the first time and we won't be back. It was busy on a Sunday morning but no excuse for what happened next. We waited and waited. Finally saw people being served that came in after us. When the waitress went by after 40 minutes, we asked what happened to our order? She apologized and said the kitchen didn't see our order. How can that happen? We should have left at that point but decided to stay. My partner got oatmeal and I got half an order of the biscuit, egg, gravy and bacon bits. My plate might have been good but it arrived cold. I didn't send it back since it had been 50 minutes. Then to top it off, after I paid and was in the car, I noticed the receipt was for someone else's order. I had to go back in, request a refund and get charged for the correct amount. Need less to say we won't be returning. The waitress was nice and apologetic, but she should have noticed sooner that we didn't have our food.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience again. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt but just too many bad experiences at this point. Ordered the pork green chili breakfast to go which is a normal for us along with the high country breakfast. When I got home I definitely didn't get any type of pork green chili but rather some kind of shredded pork. Additionally the price charged at pickup was not what I was told on the phone as they added a 1.75 charge for a to go order which was nearly a 13% surcharge. This bothers me more than the wrong food as I am bringing in business without taking up an additional table, allowing for you to actually increase revenue with less staff work; but I get upcharged for this because I used the same container you would give to anyone who takes leftovers home? Very disappointing.
