“Today, July 29, 2024 on Alli’s Culinary Adventures and Tales Jen and I had lunch at June's Cafe today. Oh, wow, what a dilemma! Do I order the waffle of the week...Butterscotch Apple Pie? Or choose the special of the day...Homemade Sloppy Joe's. Hmm, uhhh, well, it I , I might, ummm... We both go for the Sloppy Joe Specials! YES!!! Sweet, savory, and really tasty! The bottom half of the bun got nice and soaked. Plenty of Sloppy Joe mix on it, too! Oh wow, I'd have b been happy with the waffle but I was so HAPPY with this Sloppy Joe & Fries special! Thank you, June's Cafe and Jen, and good seeing you again, Houston!!!“

“Hadn’t been in for awhile, even though we have a home in the area. Was always spot on food for years …, Saw several one star reviews from recently , and was concerned. Had dinner here tonite, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding, and the beer was ice cold. Salsa could use some kick, but…,. I’d suggest the folks leaving one star go back to Scottsdale ,or the west coast, wherever their delicate and ignorant palates are from. The carnitas are unreal.“

“We stopped in just by chance because of screaming children needing a break from the car. I'm SO glad we did. The food was amazing authentic Mexican food! And the service was even better. The lady working the front counter was so kind, generous and helpful.
It became obvious, just in our 30 minute stay, that this spot is a gem in this little town.“
