This was good. This is a new restaurant so there are clearly some things to work out but over this was a good experience. We arrived just after opening and the staff was still preparing to open. Even still we were seated in a timely manner. The service staff was friendly and nice albeit they were still trying to find their footing and get into a rhythm. We ordered the avocado appetizer to start. This was a good well thought out dish. I do think it could have been presented better if it were cut when served in half but it was a great combination of creamy and crunchy. We were also served chips with two kinds of salsa and a strange (felt out of place) bowl of noodle soup. The chips were not super tasty, maybe day old or just not a high quality. The two types of salsa were very flavorful and fresh. These were the blended kind and I prefer a chicly salsa but that’s just a preference of mine. The soup… I don’t understand the value in the soup. It was just broth and noodles. I don’t think it added any value to the experience.Time for entrees. I got the barbacoa plate. This was really good. The black plates were well thought out and the meat was juicy and flavorful. This came with guacamole and a pile of sour cream. These dips were great but could have been a smaller size in my opinion. My husband got fajitas. The grilled vegetables were terrific, well seasoned and expertly cooked. Definitely check out the fajitas here! My only thought is to serve the fajitas immediately out of the heat…. Everyone love a good “sizzle” when it comes to the table. Finally dessert. We got the churro donut. This was a terrific dish. Well presented and very tasty.Overall the restaurant was clean. Lots of staff. Be patient with them. It seems like the staff is dedicated and willing to help although obviously trying to get their rhythm. I would definitely eat here again!
Me and my wife decided to try the new restaurant that just opened.Never been treated so badly in my 68 years of life.We arrived at about 4:15pm was told they could seat us and have drinks but the kitchen was about an hour behind, ok that's fine, so we had a few drinks 2 and a half hours later our food showed up, a fajita steak dish served on a wooden platter but the dish was cold so I told the waitress I didn't want cold food. A minute later the owner showed up and said how are we, I said I just don't pay for cold steak he immediately said leave my establishment immediately or I will call the police and have you physically removed, I choked up, like what you will call the police on me because you gave me cold food, yes.End of story I will never give that hot-headed man a penny.Totally disrespeckfull.By the way I had to give it one Star to post this review otherwise it would be a negative 3 stars.
If you liked Ricardo's and or Taco Giro, you'll love this place.
Excellent service,GREAT FAJITAS. Steak was melt in your mouth.
We went in for the Thursday night special, but after the new owner came by our table for a quick meet and greet, we ordered his Sonoran Burrito's. They were EXCELLENT!!!! My new favorite!!!! We will definitely be visiting a lot more often!!!!
The most amazing food! Great family atmosphere
My husband, brother and I went on a Thursday. We got the special. Steak, enchilada, chili relleno, shrimp, rice and beans. The steak was edible everything else was not. It was obvious that the chili relleno was frozen out of a box. It was nasty. The enchilada was cold. The one shrimp you get was more breading than shrimp. It was pounded out super thin then breaded. We paid over $100 for 3 meals. So not worth it. Go to La Casita or Taco Giro.
First time going the owner David was so nice and the staff was amazing atmosphere was fun lively I can’t wait to go back
We have found after several door dash orders, that you really need to go to the restaurant to dine, which we have done for years in the past, no complaints.Every order we have made from Ricardos on door dash is either turned on it side with a mess in the bag, we have had missing chips, salsa, or tonight they missed an entire entree. Door dash folks always alert prior, that's how it was packed when they deliver a mess. Would not recommend ordering on line from Ricardos at all.
Dee was our server tonight and her hospitality and attentiveness is over the top!! Everyone was friendly however—it is so great to be in an atmosphere where the vibes are positive. My and my friend’s steaks were cooked to perfection, and the prickly pearMargarita is yum! It a world of so much disappointment, Ricardo’s is the place to be.

Excellant food, prices and staff. Can't wait to go back.
Food is good, but the price is greatly inflated for what you get. $18.95 for fajitas, with1/2 piece of chicken, 2 tortillas, beans & rice, but NO cheese, pico, guacamole or other condiments; barely enough for 2 tortillas. When mentioned at checkout, was told they have never served anything (pico or guacamole) with fajitas. Oh and $3.50 for some sour cream ?
This is a great place for an event. They have a banquet room that is comfortable for maybe 50-70 people. The bar is attentive, the staff are friendly, and the refried beans are GOOD. I just wish they stayed open later.
I'm from texas & went here to get some chips & queso & salsa to go. They didnt have any queso & only 1 type of salsa that tasted like marinara sauce. I did also order the carna asada chimichangas to go & it was really good but we had to be seated to get it to go. The rice that came with it tasted like black pepper & the beans were ok nothing special. Young nice waitress & front host. I get the feel this place is cratered more to the senior citizens in the area & not out of state visitors.
First time visiting here in over ten years. Love what they have done with the place, great event room/ space. Reasonable prices at the bar, which is always appreciated and the food was as good as I always remembered it being.
