Guy taking care of us had a huge chip on his shoulder and mean demeanor. Messed up our entire order. We left. Save your money. Hire nicer people.

I’ve never left a review before but this place made us so upset that I’ve decided to not only post a review but reach out to management also. We came in for lunch today and we wanted a different table from where we were sat and oh boy were we met with massive attitude. The man who I assume was supposed to be our server was clearly angry. I guess we moved to someone else’s table. A young girl who actually was pleasant and sweet. We asked the man if us moving messed things up and he we were told by him that he was losing money because of it. Had he not been so rude and dismissive we probably would have just moved back to our original table. But because he was we had no interest in being waited on by him at that point. He was out right nasty to us. The young lady who served us was kind and we could tell she felt badly about the entire thing. We were left feeling extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Your waiters, even if they are “losing money” by a table moving to a different table should not be saying that to us or if do at least find a better way to say it. Do better. The very young girl waiting on us had more maturity than he did. We also watched him and another older woman working stand there and talk about us like we weren’t even there. Food was decent though but we won’t be back. My one star fo service goes to the adult man with gray hair behaving like a teenage girl.

I dont normally write reviews, but i think they deserve it. The food was great! Our server Sarina ( I hope thats her name) was great. She was attentive, polite, and very professional. Long story, but they actually saved our Thanksgiving! Much appreciated... Thank you

I asked for mustard and they gave me a whole jar of grey poupon, but halfway into eating I inspected jar and it was expired 3 months ago. I already put it all over my food however I didn't get sick. Mentioned it to them they just say no other mustard, didn't react about expired. I don't usually get mustard, was just feeling it that day for sandwich instead of mayo. Anyway it seemed to still be ok, didn't get sick, jar didn't smell, but a non expired stone ground would have been best.
Made it for sunset and moonrise. Spectacular views from the dining room. Dining room and bar seem original to this historic hotel, with newer finishes. The venue is itself with a visit.
Creative beverages, creative dishes, enthusiastic wait staff. Had the copper camp old fashioned, revisited butternut squash soup, chilean sea bass and the pecan pie. Taste was exquisite and artistically presented. The sea bass was topped with pickled peppers. The pecan pie was a little too moist with the soak of bourbon.
The price is on the high end, but the experience was well with it.

The Asylum is no longer the premier restaurant in Jerome. It’s such a shame because the ambience is fantastic. I was there this past weekend after previously visiting 10 years ago. The appetizer and dessert were somehow over-flavored while my main dish tasted like actual water on a plate. It was bizarre! We also didn’t get bread service, which the server blamed on the bus staff, but she didn’t see any bread baskets on our small table for two and didn’t care to correct. The manager offered to send out a different main, but it wasn’t worth it. He comped the dessert but again- oddly over-flavored! Skip it and go to the newly renovated Clinkscale instead. We went there the previous night and it was excellent!

Hello,
Jeromes is one of our favorite places to be and celebrate our special occasions. However this time in this beautiful building full of ghosts 👻 the service was so bad we were waiting for our drinks to arrive so long even though the place was mostly empty! We ordered a second round of drinks after 15 minutes my husband asked the bartender about our order and when the bartender finely delivered the drinks he had an attitude. We wanted to celebrate my daughters birthday but we ended up so disappointed.

This used to one of our favorite spots. We came for their Butternut squash soup. What a mess. Poor service, we got to watch as everyone else was acknowledged. After going to the front to ask for service the guy snapped at my wife. Two people took our drink orders yet no drinks. Used to be a fun place.

Girlfriend got the chk alfredo with broken alfredo sauce. I got food poisioning from the duck. This happened on 10/29 at 645pm.
Im still feeling the effects as i write this on 10/30 at 7am.
Update 10/30 @ 1225pm. Called and spoke with the manager and he refused to refund the ticket. He had no compassion nor did he believe the duck made me sick.
Horrible food and horrible customer service.
The waiter was great.
The views are spectacular from the restaurant. Our waitress dressed up for Halloween which added to the spooky atmosphere.
