I love the food here, but I've showed up twice now at about 5:30pm looking for dinner and they were out of Pasties. I don't know what's going on there, but if you run out of food during prime dinner hours, something is not being run right. Hope they can fix that.

Had a TERRIBLE experience last night. Went in 2hrs before they closed and they had no chicken, only 3 pasties to choose from and very very limited items. Waiter was high as a kite which I donāt mind but he forgot about us so many times my husband literally had to get up and go get him. Soda was flat, they forgot dressing for salad, wings came out COLD even though we asked they practically burn them as we like our wings DUMB CRISPY and it was empty so itās not like they were busy. Bathrooms were DISGUSTING! I gave atmosphere 4 stars as restaurant is cool and in an old historic building. Service was terrible! Good was terrible! We told waiter about cold wings and they threw same wings in oven even the one we bit and brought them back out with no sauce on them. The ONLY thing I could not stop raving about was the ranch! We are a bit of ranch fanatics and I can confidently say that ranch was TOP TIER!

Finally made it to try a pasty. It was better than the anticipation. Really good!!!! Would of preferred chunky potatoes vs thin sliced but otherwise it was Great!

We loved this place! Got a recommendation from a shop down the street. What a treat! We shared a chicken pot pie pasty. We had never had this before. The story behind them is interesting. Coal miners used to eat these 'meat pies/calzones' because their hands had so much coal dust on them they could hold the pasty, eat it, and just chuck the little bottom part that their hands were touching. The restaurant is great looking as it is totally aligned with the history of the restaurant. Black and white wall paper. Photos of coal miners. The service was quick and friendly. We loved it. There are a lot of varieties of pastys to try. Hope I can come here sometime in the future.
Wow! We had the Lamb and Mint, The Royale, and the Chicken Tikka Masala Pasties. They were delicious. We could not stop raving through the meal. We also took the dessert apple pasty home for later. Even reheated, mmmmmm!!!
