I was in Jerome yesterday. Love that place. I was having a beer and heard the bartender happily tell a friend that Hilltop was open. I asked her about it, and she said that it's a great spot, popular with locals. I try not to pass up those recommendations. I went to Hilltop and got one of the veggie sandwich options. It was delicious.

Wow, a hidden surprise in Jerome. Everyone talks about haunted hamburger, which isn’t that great imo, and often has a several hour wait. Instead I thought I was settling by picking hill top deli but I was very wrong, this place is the real star of Jerome. If you’re thinking of eating in Jerome, please consider this over the ‘attraction’ restaurants.

What used to be an excellent sandwich shop is now a disaster of understaffing and inadequate food. If you want to spend $10 on a mediocre pre-packaged sandwich this is the place for you. Last time I was here was during the height of the pandemic, the service and food was amazing. Turns out they opened locations in Cottonwood Cottonwood and Sedona and took all the Jerome employees there.. Only good thing left about this place is the fancy sodas but I definitely won't be coming here for that since I can happily spend my money elsewhere.

The hidden gem in Jerome! The environment itself is wonderful - so welcoming and vibrant - but the food is STELLAR!! The staff/owners were not only genuinely hilarious people, but were also very helpful in helping guide our menu selections. The result was two perfectly balanced sandwiches and an equally yummy beverage that complimented both of them perfectly. And, my gluten-free friends -- the lettuce wrap is pure perfection. Cannot recommend this place enough... we will defintely be back!

Stumbled in here looking for a good, reasonable place to eat. Sign says owner tries to support local suppliers so gave it a try. Was I ever lucky. I ordered a sandwich, my good old standby. Scott at the counter suggested a twist. He was not pushy or anything and his suggestions were so good, I have a new favorite sandwich. Thanks Scott and Hilltop Deli for the high standard of service and product. I don't write many reviews unless I find something exceptional.

Extremely friendly host. No waiting. Nice patio and indoor seating. Very nice sandwiches. Kid friendly too! A great alternative to Haunted Hamburgers which had a 1.5 hour wait.

Called about 1pm on a Friday. The person answered and asked me to "hold" He set the phone down and i could still hear him taking other orders. After Listening to him take 4-5 orders and him chit chatting witjh other people I hung up. Called again and put on hold again. Gave up and went some where else,

A Really tasty unique sub store!! I wasn’t sure when I saw sprouts in subs on the menu but it was very tasty!!! My husband said his sub was awesome and our daughter three years old ate her sub!! Customer service was awesome as well!

From the wonderful, friendly service to the delicious, huge portions, this restaurant is perfect! Overlooking the quaint town of Jerome, the outdoor seating is relaxing and enjoyable with live music. The inside seating is spacious and clean. You can’t go wrong!

Stopped into this venue on a Monday afternoon for a bite of lunch. They have a nice patio for dining as well as inside seating... We were definitely looking for the patio. The way their system works is you order the sandwich etc of your choice inside and then they bring it out to you. I enjoyed their hot cilantro pesto chicken sandwich with Jack cheese and added lettuce tomato onions and olives. See pic. For a beverage I had a craft soda, they have an excellent selection. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and the food is delicious! Definitely worth a stop for a bite in Jerome.

Very short wait, live music outside, great views, and absolutely delicious menu items. Highly recommend a french dip sandwich with pastrami and roast beef! The staff are quite charismatic and charming as well. If you sit outside, they may just strike up a conversation with you through the window! Absolute joy of a place to stop and eat when visiting Jerome.
