The Clinkscale took the place of the previous Mile High Inn and Grill. It has definitely been through a glow up! Still plenty of Jerome charm, but with excellent food and service. It's better than The Asylum, which historically has been the best restaurant in town. Make a reservation though!

We went for breakfast. We were in the area for the Verde Canyon Railroad. The Clinkscale is the place to go. My wife said she had the best avocado toast and I had the breakfast tacos with sausage. Everything was fantastic!! We also had Bloody Marys. Definitely worth the trip!
This is our fourth experience at this restaurant, and we were disappointed for a few reasons. Our breakfast, the second time the bacon was undercooked. There was only three people in the restaurant and it took 40 minutes for us to get our food. By the time we got it, our eggs were cold. We went to dinner the other night and the pasta was absolutely horrendous. It was a shell pasta and extremely sticky. Not smooth or creamy like any sauce should be on a pasta. The steak was okay, the chicken was okay but nothing to rave about. I think this will be our last time. I believe in three times is a charm.

We had a wonderful experience at Clinkscale. As Verde Valley locals, we have visited a few times, and each visit has been exceptional. The atmosphere and staff are consistently warm and inviting. We are always greeted with a smile and treated in an outstanding manner throughout our entire visit.
The food selections are endlessly tempting, making us want to order one of everything on the menu. Our party has enjoyed an array of entrees, including salads, burgers, chicken sandwiches, soup, guacamole, and chips, among others. Everything we've tried has been absolutely delicious!
We can't wait to come back for another meal. I highly recommend Clinkscale to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Our stay in the Haunted Penthouse Suite at The Clinkscale Hotel was unforgettable! From the moment we checked in, the service was friendly, personable, and full of charm. The staff made us feel right at home — even if a few friendly spirits were watching over us!
The suite itself exceeded every expectation — spacious, spotless, and beautifully unique. It had such an incredible atmosphere, easily one of the best vibes we’ve ever experienced while traveling. Whether it was the historic charm or a hint of ghostly magic, the energy in that room was amazing.
Dinner at The Clinkscale Restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. The food and service were both 10/10 — every dish was perfection, and the staff made the evening so special.

Exceptional service and a dining experience like you're at a five star restaurant without the pretentious feel. The bartender is an artist and Mike especially made us feel like the only guests there. Such an unexpected gem in this quaint old town. Cannot wait to go back. make sure to grab dinner and brunch here. No detail was overlooked

Every time my husband come here for dinner, it is a fabulous experience. We rave about the food, the staff and the ambience. It's a sweet, small space that feels intimate wherever we are seated. The food is outstanding, better than most, and the attention to detail is exceptional. I rave about the Clinkscale to whomever will listen! I usually like to try something different, but often end up with the salmon or scallops. The filet is melt in your mouth, the salads are excellent.... Seriously, I can find nothing to complain about. Cocktails are meticulously crafted, and all in all, it is our favorite place to go, whether to take company from out of town, or just to go for an intimate dinner.
