I encountered a communication barrier with the server, who had limited English proficiency. Despite my efforts to simplify my language, effective communication proved challenging. I resorted to pointing at the menu and physically indicating the expected inclusions. The server then consulted with the cook, who informed her that the item would not be available until the following day. This situation highlights a significant breakdown in communication. Ideally, the cook should have promptly informed the server, who then should have relayed the information to me without delay.
No apology was offered. I requested the removal of the $18 meal from my bill and asked for French fries. Subsequently, the server verbally abused me to another woman in Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish and comprehended the exchange entirely. While I considered confronting both individuals in Spanish, I chose not to engage in such unprofessional behavior.
Typical tourist trap. Waiter could care less about the customers and service. Food was anything but Mexican. Definitely not a place to go back to.

Super tender and juicy Carne Asada with the perfect char. The mole was very delicious and the beans were perfect. Rice could be better, but still everything was super tasty nonetheless. My father ordered creamy chipotle chicken and it was SOOOOOOO good, I will be coming back for that! (Jalisco plate pictured)

Excellent food and service. We tried the molacajete, which was more than enough for 2 people. Served sizzling hot with warm tortillas, rice and beans it was just perfect. Quaint little Mexican place with interesting decor.
Very cute restaurant! The decor is very vibrant and the food is satisfying. They have large portion sizes which can be good for bringing home leftovers for later.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. My wife had the combo #3 and I had the Mexican trio, and both were delicious. And the margaritas were delicious. Highly recommend for Mexican food in Jerome

I went here some years ago while visiting the USA and I still think about it and mention it to people every now and again, and I realised I never left a review for this place! so I'm doing that now.
The food was amazing, easily one of the best places I ate at out of all the places I visited in Arizona. The service was great and it was fairly priced. If you're in town check it out, I promise you - you won't be disappointed.

I was there the other day when a large party of twenty arrived. Despite handling everything solo, she stayed friendly and professional throughout. Later, I saw that the group had posted a harsh, completely unfounded review so I wanted to speak up and share how admirably she managed the situation.
