We were driving across northern Arizona and arrived in Kayenta in time for a late lunch. We saw Amigo Cafe’s billboard advertising Navajo Tacos as we were coming into town and decided to stop there. Talk about good fortune! My wife had the Navajo Taco and I had the pork posole with blue corn fry bread. Absolutely over the top delicious! Be sure to try one of their coffee drinks. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the staff is delightfully friendly and helpful. I wish that we lived closer. The Amigo Cafe would become a regular for us.

I stopped in on my way from Monument Valley to Page. The lady inside was very nice and polite. I had the Mexican Omelet and it was fantastic. The sauce that came with it on the side had the perfect amount of heat. Very good place!

Parking: This place is awesome! It is a small local restaurant and we were advised to go early since it is small and fills up fast. The food is made from scratch so it is not fast food and the results are amazing. The staff is very nice and take the time to make sure everyone is happy. This place has the sweetest staff and the BEST food. Husband got the Fry bread Chalupa and I got the Navajo Taco. It was the best I've ever had. I love Navajo tacos. I've had them from Oklahoma across to California and this place is the absolute best.

Terrific! We were optimistic after looking at Amigo Cafe's menu online while planning our road trip, but blown away in person. The execution was simply fantastic, with each of the three dishes we ordered done to perfection and with incredibly good service. The Native - Mexican fusion offerings were each really delicious and an ingenious and tasty twist on their originals. From the sign-in book outside we gather this place must get incredibly busy at times - it is small, and seems like the best option for miles around. But at 1:30pm on a Thursday we experienced no wait (there were about 3 other families in the cafe, with tables for perhaps another 4 more), and the service was quick and efficient. Don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu: they are masters of yummy! I would highly, highly recommend this place if your travels bring you anywhere near it!
