The food was delicious. The salsa was the bomb. The bean dip they give you with the chips were great better then the chips I got with my main course. The service was excellent. Made us feel like we were family.
1000 stars BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE WEST! So years ago, my husband and I lived in town and we used to eat here every week. I got a veggie plate, he got cheese enchiladas. And then we moved away from this horrendous cesspool of a town, and besides a few cool people, El Palacios was really the only thing we missed. We traveled a lot of work and aye a ton of Mexican food, but nothing ever compared. This week we were back in town, and stopped in and they remembered us! Best food...
I eat at this place currently about twice a year. The food and service are always top notch, and the staff are friendly. They have had some plumbing problem that makes the place smelly. If they could fix that, the place would be just about the best Mexican restaurant within 100 miles.
