Attentive server to our needs, git a table right away, food was delicious, alcoholic drinks were different/flavorful, had live music the guy sang awesome, busy place with locals all around, moderate on the price, the food was filling. Had an outside patio good location. Great bloody Mary's.

Very good family owned restaurant. I had a Charger burger - basically a BBQ burger with an onion ring and BBQ sauce. Huge portion, I had to take half home. The onion rings were unique and delicious, tempura style. They were thick and breaded yet very crispy. They have batter coated fries, which I usually don't like at all, but these still tasted like potato so it was a win. We are definitely going back.

Update: 2 days later I take my significant other there for lunch. I was over the top telling her how good everything was and ... the burgers were still good but the oil the "in house" onion rings were cooked in made them inedible. This would have been our go to spot but neither us felt good afterwards and we only had a few bites of the onion rings. The following was before our second visit: A gourmet burger and in-house onion rings. The best lunch ever. Have the Blue Mercury burger, amazing. Great to have a hot rod influenced diner with amazing food. It seems impossible to find a consistent restaurant here :-(

What a great find! The food was great onion rings hand batter almost looked like cake donuts so delicious. Hearty hamburgers and omelets cooked yo perfection. The chef/cook takes pride in his food as all good coming out had the same quality. Our server was super friendly and helpful. This is worth the stop no matter if coming yo Kingman. See you guys next time!

I was very excited about this restaurant. The burgers are very good and on my first visit bothe the burger and onion rings were outstanding, Unfortunately 2 days later I take my significant other and the "in house" onion rings were cooked in a very bad oil making them inedible. Too bad as this was at the top of my list but it will now be quite awhile before we go back.

Definitely 5 ?, We had the pastrami sandwich and OMGOODNESS it was amazing. Jessica was very nice and helpful. I live in Bullhead City, and I would drive back to Kingman just to go and eat there. DEFINITELY GOING BACK.

Had chicken fried steak and eggs here, steak is about the size of a hamburger patty, but it was good. Eggs and hashbrowns were also good, 1 piece of toast. Waiter was very pleasant and kind. Menu was a little pricey but would probably eat here again, perhaps lunch!

Stopped in for lunch while exploring the area. Our host Mark, made us feel like old friends. He was so great telling us about the food, the restaurant, the area, and what to see. Our food was simple but really tasty. The onoin rings were the best I have ever had! We loved the atmosphere and the location was right off the main road. I had the Firebird sandwich and my wife had the GTO. Both were great. The menu had lots of choices as wel as breakfast and full meals. We loved it there, so warm and inviting. Thanks Mark!

I love to travel and eat at boutique diners that have some sort of unique theme, and the Hot Rod Cafe did not disappoint. The atmosphere is incredible, with classic hot rods on display and plenty of retro memorabilia. The service was also great, and the staff was friendly and attentive.I ordered the breakfast platter, which was very generous and delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were fluffy. I would have given the restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 if it had fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, but that is my only complaint.Overall, I highly recommend the Hot Rod Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun atmosphere. The food here is PHENOMENAL!! Had the build your own omelet, biscuits and gravy. YUM!!! We sat outside because we had our doggy. Waitress brought her water and a treat how sweet!! Can't wait to go back. Only improvement they could make is adding a mimosa flight at a reasonable price. They have amazing juice selection for their mimosas like huckleberry and mango. Can't remember the others but I'd love to try them all in a flight at a reasonable price... not by the glass at 6 a piece yikes! And they could make their outside dining area a little more appealing. Overall amazing little place!

Had the cod dinner. Was more like cod fingers. 2 small pieces. They add a delivery charge onto your bill and you don’t know until you get the receipt. It was 72 cents but I’m not sure why I was charged delivery when I ate there. I eat out 2 or 3 times each week and I won’t be back here. I can do better for what they charge.
