Good food and great ambiance. People were super nice. It is a very homey place. A couple of local people came to say hi. El Jefe guy came over and was so nice. He played the sax and was coordinating karaoke night. It was such a pleasant experience. I am very grateful for people being so welcoming , thank you!

Excellent , flavorful, large sized proportions!! Home cooked from scratch!! The menu is nothing shy of AMAZING!! Exceptional atmosphere, personable employee's!! Not ONLY is the food the BEST in town, Hooch's can host large crowds with plenty of indoor outdoor seating, there's entertainment most days of the week!! Had the meat sampler, that included ribs, brisket , and jack daniel beans, and baked potato. Food was excellent, tender, fall off the bone tender. Service was great, friendly staff. Price was more than reasonable . Highly recommend
The chef went out of his way to accommodate our table with our 4 little kiddos. One child wanted noodles, so then everyone wanted noodles. Plain noodles. Lol, we thank you for making our little ones happy. Food was great, love that they have a little color shelf to pick your own and go. Very convenient ?

I've read that it changed ownership, but the food still tastes as good as before to me. I don't use the bar, so I can't comment on that.
No ac (in 110 degree weather, doors open), cold food, awful margaritas. The service (all ya can eat fish and chips.... never asked if I wanted seconds). I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

Dropped in for a couple beers and to listen to live music. Patio has misters and is dog-friendly. Beers and service were good; I didn't eat so can't speak to that. Band was OK, honestly I just wanted to get out of the house for an couple hours, and mission accomplished. Folks are friendly, I'm sure I'll be back. Oh yes, beer prices were very reasonable IMO.
