Sakura's Sushi and Grill

My wife and I stopped in while staying overnight and we found Sakura’s to be a good, medium cost vegetarian friendly restaurant! The serving size was generous and good tasting.

The cook.... when the server asked (on my behalf) what style the egg sashimi was: he only said "it's cooked egg"... it's really styled like a Chinese-food restaurant

They hate veterans and the food is over priced and terribly cooked.
After discriminating against my friend's father who is a disabled American veteran, they will not be receiving any of my business.

Food is OK, management is completely devoid of common sense. My disabled father parked and bumped the Handicap sign back about a half inch. Manager decided to call the Kingman police and report property damage instead of asking my Father what happened. Responding officer thought it was hilarious and a huge waste of their time. I used to visit this place 3 times a week while I was in town for the mediocre sushi (falls apart, loosely rolled, rice undercooked etc.). Not going to support them anymore if this is how they treat disabled veterans that make an oopsie.

I had the spicy seafood claypot, Sore wa oishi desu.
It's delicious! ? My wife had the salmon tempura the sushi is huge and delicious. The tempura batter needs some work but other than that. Delicious!! Thank you.
Edit. Although the food was tasty it left me sick as a dog. ??

The sushi was topnotch. Everything was very fresh, and the eggdrop soup was delicious. Even the iced tea was especially good! The service was exceptional.

Not too bad of a place to eat. The food tasted really good. And the service was good as well. Clean and had a good atmosphere to it. If you like Chinese food then I suggest Sakura's. Will be going back to try different dishes. And when I do I will post and let everyone know how it went!

I didn’t like the sushi rolls, because I had a fishy taste in my mouth for the rest of the evening. I don’t think it’s very fresh raw ingredients, and I will not get sushi from here again. The fried rice was white and had very little vegetables added. It didn’t look like it had any soy sauce or any sauce when it was prepared. The scallop roll was flavorless, not seared in garlic butter or anything, not a “roll” at all, it was just sliced scallop on a round piece of rice.

I do absolutely love the sushi rolls served at BlueFin Restaurant in Las Vegas, NV. Sakura restaurant in Kingman, AZ didn’t measure up using quality ingredients.

The waitress was lovely, and provided superb service, and she was very polite. She brought our dinner to us promptly, and she took time with us as her customers. It was not our waitress’s fault the way the dinner turned out.

Service isn’t bad, nice and friendly, the only problem is the food, it’s not fresh and it’s overdone and over seasoned because it’s old, I just pulled into the hospital and puked after a bento box….. please. Do yourself a favor and steer clear……. I knew it smelled old I should have listened to my nose and never taken a bite…..
