I have been going to ChaBones for a few years, not sure what has happened, but the last three experiences were less than enjoyable. Three strikes.Had the halibut, it was terrible, extremely dry. The service was slow and had to repeatedly ask for the waitress.Went for my anniversary, requested a quiet table and let them know it was my anniversary. Sat in the corner however anniversary was never mentioned and again, the service was very slow and she was not attentive.Went for appetizers, and again very poor service and the food was mediocre. Got our food however no napkin or silverware. By the time we got it, food was cold.Very disappointing.Waiting to pay while I wrote this, still waiting....and still waiting.

We just went in for afternoon snacks as we missed lunch while sightseeing. Sat at high top in bar. This is a fine dining place and the clientele was well dressed, although since it is in a lake resort town, there were people in shorts and shirt too. Great, fun bartender, huge selection of high end liquor, good wine list, beers on tap. We had signature cocktails and 3 apps from a huge menu of them. Everything was very good. Would have stayed for dinner, but they were booked solid as it was a weekend. Good idea to make reservations if you're not just doing snacks and drinks.Vegetarian options: Many of the apps and entrees are vegetarian, as well as the usual salads etcParking: The lot is public and huge, used for weekly flea market and events, so it could be dicey then.Kid-friendliness: This is a fine dining restaurant, not kid friendly. Would only bring 1 or 2 exceptionally well behaved kidsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, 1 story, roll right in, although tables are packed, might be hard to maneuver.

Had dinner for my husband's birthday. The server J.P. was awesome, very helpful and attentive. I had the filet mignon, melts in your mouth and a delicious spring salad. My husband had the salmon, he really enjoyed the flavor. It was a perfect dinner and the cheesecake desert was yummy. Both of the hostesses were very nice too.

I’m not one to write bad reviews but I’m hungry and angry right now. Went in yesterday and ordered a turkey sandwich after checking online and checking with the waitress in person to make sure it was in fact “hand carved” turkey and not deli meat. The sandwich was really good. The fries were fine but that’s not why we went there. Placed a takeout order this afternoon and got home with a completely different sandwich. I would be shocked if to find out that wasn’t deli meat. It was disgusting and slimy, not to mention nowhere near the poorly made sandwich but instead under the fries that were also entirely different than yesterday. I realize this restaurant is busy in the afternoon but I would be so embarrassed to send that out of my restaurant.

Great meal. The prime rib was perfect. Seafood was fresh. Tapas and cocktails were amazing. Everyone in our group had a great meal. The desserts were fun and the perfect way to end a perfect dinner. The noise level was med-high and it made it difficult for some of us to hear others in our party without shouting. One guest thought the chairs were awkward to sit in but neither the noise nor the chairs detracted from a great meal.

We arrived to early for dinner, starts at 4 pm, but they allowed to enjoy the dinner menu minus the potato and vegetable. The substituted them for a salad and fries. The first steaks came out cooked wrong and they gladly replaced them with new steaks cooked perfect.

Not the same since Christmas closing and reopened. Steamers tough and unfavorable. Lamb good, tempura fair, bree good, but overall not as expected. Server did well but forgot my wine second glass ordered. Very friendly server as usual. We have been going there for years and slowly creeping downhill with food…service has always been amazing.

We have dined at Cha Bones many a time. Always been pretty good until now. I believe they have gone down in quality. But especially service. The server was just not tentative. We had to ask for cloth napkins. Flatware was never right. It was just blah, blah. Not impressed.
