Heard about them via the Next Door app, saying they had the best fish and chips in town. We decided to go today 7/9 to see if that was true, being fish and chips afficionados!
The waitress was very attentive, and the GM and the owner, Joey and Apryl(?) also said hello. The order was quick, and perfectly presented. We usually go to Burgers by the bridge, as they have been the best in town; we take our out of town visitors there. I gotta tell you, the fish was excellent. Moist and tender, with excellent batter. They were every bit as good as Burgers, and also our favorite place in Pismo Beach. The kicker is, the fries were superior! They were surprisingly perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I wish I could find the old style English chips I used to get, but since no one does that anymore, fries are the option, and these guys do it right! We'll definitely bring our people when they visit. I'm glad we took the recommendation to heart and tried them. They're a sweet little gem that we didn't even know about! Also, this is just a preference, but they don't keep the ketchup on the tables, so it was fresh and cold, the way I like it. The others leave it on the table and in this heat it "breaks." Lastly, the tartar sauce was perfect, too.

Went there for dinner on the evening of July 5th and their air-conditioning was broke and we were told it wouldn't be fixed until next Tuesday. We decided to stick it out and when we went to order food the waitress informed us they were out of shrimp, pork chops, scallops, and salmon. Sounds like they are out of money to buy food or fix the A/C! We use to really like this place and had good meals there before but... wow, really down hill now.

Came in around 3pm on a Tuesday. 3 or 4 people at the bar and nobody at a table. We sat at a booth and quickly ordered the Celtic Nachos (excellent). Took a while for "waiter" to come back for our drink order. We inquired as to the status of the air conditioning as it was 110 outside and felt like 90+ inside. Noticed there were several floor fans on pointed towards the bar area. The "waiter " responded that the air conditioner was working, but they have high ceilings and it's probably 20 cooler inside than outside. Really! The ceiling fans were not even on. Our beers arrived and we started eating. "Waiter " came by and asked if we needed anything else. Said I would need another beer shortly. He said he would keep an eye on it and get me another when I was getting low. Never say him the rest of the time we were there. A girl came by and asked if we needed anything. Asked for another beer. Never saw her again. I held my empty glass up in the air to get some attention. Nothing for several minutes. A 12 year old kid that was part of the restaurant got within earshot so I called him over. I told him to get somebody, anybody to get me a GD beer. After what seemed like a family discussion, a kind gentleman asked what he could do. He delivered my drink and stated it was on him. He stated our "waiter " was fixing a keg in the back. Really. That comes before your customer? And you didn't have anyone else tend to us? Was finishing up and noticed another employee checking the output of the AC vents. Yeah, there was an AC problem. Definitely service issues.

Great hidden restaurant in Havasu, I had the Irish tacos and Ruben sliders which were hella good. not like anything I've had in town. If you haven't been, it's Definitely worth checking out, awesome food , great service, good atmosphere

Our first experience was flawless. Second was ok.. credited the poor food quality to ordering take out instead of dine in. However today I ordered to go ... brought it to my hotel and it was still hot and fresh but... fish was over cooked and salty.. the soup was awful.. uncooked onions.. watered down unflavored broth for French onion is all bad. The bacon cheeseburger came with no condiments.. although they were requested.. bacon not fully cooked. No utensils or condiments offered or included. Very disappointed for 50 00 lunch .

Great atmosphere, just in the wrong building and location. Awesome bar and love the set upnof the tables. Problem is it's a metal building in Lake Havasu, need I say more? The food is worth the room be a little warm, but the air is really moving around so that helps alot. The bathroom temps have to be at least in the 90s. But again, the take away is their food is excellent, definitely worth the stop. I'm going again whenever I go thru Havasu, hope it's in the winter.

Wow what a gem, terrific food, they had run out of a few items, but I can understand why! The shepherds pie was so good, with a nice sized side salad. The French onion soup and soda bread were very tasty. Harp and some stellar Irish whiskeys just can't be beat. Thank you April Sue and your staff, great job!! Would have loved a little bit of Irish music.
