Good food, great service!
Great spot to hit for small to large breakfast options & coffee strolls right under London Bridge!
GREAT BLT! I was dropped off here with family during a jet boat tour excursion and decided to dine-in as it’s the closest eatery inside the Island Mall to the London Bridge dock. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food at this restaurant. The crispy bacon inside my BLT was to die for and the sandwich was overall very tasty. The sweet potato fries were also yummy, but I was severely disappointed when they only placed four waffle fries on my plate. It’s restaurant 101, you need to have proper portions.
Our waiting service left much to be desired, our waitress didn’t really check on us and seemed a little standoffish. It felt like she was looking into my soul at some points, I’m not sure what her intentions were.
The younger staff were super nice and really hardworking! I need to give a major shoutout to them for taking their job seriously. I wish we could’ve gotten one of the younger staff members, they had great customer service from what I could tell.
Overall, I really liked the tiki aesthetic and Hawaiian decor at Makai. I think I’d give it another try when I visit Havasu again, however I’d come at a different time and order something else like breakfast.
Food was awesome very tasty at great price, will go back again .
Loved it, food amazing, service was great, and the atmosphere was cool. Our waitress gave a cool vibe, conversation, and jokes.
Keep getting strange stare from the staff.
Waitress was very rude to us. Didnt even give us our change she just assume it was for tip. I guess she needed it more. I wont be back. Felt we were rushed soon as we got our food the check was brought.
Can’t really recall the name of the Omelette I ordered. I believe maybe it was called Morning Starter, anyway it was delicious the melted goat cheese inside complemented the rest of the ingredients. As for the Bloody Mary that for me wasn’t the best in my opinion but I would never waste alcohol.
Great place for lunch and awesome views!
We took the boat tour from Laughlin,Nv. to see Lake Havasu and the London Bridge. stopped in to Makai Cafe for lunch.
The service was great and the food was fantastic! We got a seat right away and had a great time hanging out. they have a good selection of adult beverages and good food. They had good music playing while we were there, but at a decent volume, so we could still hear each other. It was a beautiful day and we loved watching the boats, people and taking in the great London Bridge views.
excellent customer service and delicious food 💯

We had a lovely brunch at this restaurant. I ordered a ‘make your own’ omelet & it was great. We both enjoyed our dishes we chose. Nice patio with a view of the bridge. Super polite & friendly server.

Just had a great breakfast served by the nicest most attentive server in Havasu. (Ciera) made having breakfast a treat. The food was reasonably priced, place was very clean.

Was excited to get there, then disappointed when I left. Don't get the chicken fried steak as the steak was very tough, the gravy left me highly disappointed, and the o'brian potatoes had no onions or green peppers. My daughter got a nice sized portion of onions and peppers. Her breakfast was very tasty and enjoyed the eggs quarvo. Sorry, I can't spell well. Lol. Atmosphere A+, and patio A+ too.

The Makai Cafe is a hidden gem in the shadow of the London bridge here in Lake Havasu city! Excellent food, friendly staff and a great value! We had the oatmeal with strawberries, raisins and bananas. French toast and breakfast tacos. This wonderful Cafe also makes their own Maple syrup. It is fantastic! Five stars for this great cafe'!
