The prime rib was the worst i have ever had
We had an excellent experience here. Great martini, an ok shrimp cocktail (shrimp quality was average and the sauce needed more horseradish), solid salad, but the steaks were to die for. Loved my Pepper steak, and my wife had an incredible filet. I make a great steak at home, but this is one of the few places I have been, where theirs is better! The beer and wine options were also great. Michael was a great server!
All that said, the decor is really lacking here.
I mean, it’s Montana’s - so where is the wood and iron decor? This poor decor should drop this to a 4 star rating, but I could not do that to a place with steaks this good.

Went in last Friday. haven't been to Havasu in 2 years..Was in Havasu visiting a friend that I haven't seen in a while...I said I would never go in again because they charged me a extra Fee 2 yrs ago for using my credit card instead of paying cash I was Pissed... But The food was so good I gave it another shot and this time I was not charged a fee for using my credit card... The food I give 100%. its better than most High end restaurants.. I hope they NEVER go back to a credit card fee if they do I will Never return..Good food or not....

First and last time, sorry to say!

The wait staff here is rude, entitled, apparently has hatred for people from California and doesn’t care that you don’t know their *policies* and is happy to get in a nasty argument with you over them.
One complaint all night, they literally CUT MY FILET MIGNON IN HALF!! I’ve been eating this cut for 3 decades and aside from a teppan restaurant have NEVER had my filet cut from the kitchen. So I was shocked, but ended up keeping it and enjoyed it.
They charge 20% gratuity with a big party, that’s fine….but also charge a “conv fee” which is for credit card but they don’t post that on the menu and don’t add it on the bottom as an extra should you pay with credit card! So if you don’t look and pay cash they just get to pocket the difference….super not cool!
Being chewed out by the garbage waitresses when I explained I didn’t know because it was my first time and their sign was in a very bad location where no one would see it was a whole new level of pathetic. Then being questioned “if we were from California” by someone who I didn’t interact with once all night, and had no idea why she even was talking to me.
This place is run down, has the bottom of the barrel wait staff, the “manager” looks unkempt and disheveled, the place smells and has a conference room vibe!
Wanted to love it and have a new go to steak place, very sad they will never get another penny from me! And if you are from Cali and made it this far, they don’t want your business either! They made that very clear, so sad!!

Rude and stinky, cut our fillet in half.
Smells like old socks and staff was ridiculously rude. Waiting in front like a used car lot.

Very laid back, great food. Very unexpected.
Time to update the furniture. Looks like its from the 60s. Lots of room between tables. Large bar area. Fantastic menu and happy hour.
Not one thing here was ok for us. Fries so garliced and parmesaned up the were sickening, bread cheap grocery store crap, breaded salmon was certainly unlike any other tempura I have ever tried. Atmosphere was cold looking, noisy beyond compare, and our booth was so far from seat to table I had to lean in the whole time. Two bites we asked for check and it took about 20 minutes to get. Manager had to come talk and I told her we are just looking to pay. We asked for nothing free (even the vinegar crap they called wine). We just wanted our check so we could eat somewhere else. Server said mgr. can’t give refunds on special. We had to just plead to get us check and we’re g9me. Nightmare crap. Thank heavens for good food all over havasu. Why do people put up with this.
We made a reservation not knowing anything about this place that was new to us as it sounded like a nice place to have dinner. When we arrived were were taken past open tables up front to the back room bar and were seated in a corner. Unfortunately, it sounded like a Chuck E Cheese due to a large group with kids running all over the area and loudly having a good time as if on a play ground. We asked for a quieter seating and were accommodated up front where there a lot of open tables but I felt the request was perhaps taken as an inconvenience.
The service was pleasant and attentive enough. The food was good as well.
I guess first impressions do matter for us.
I am sure you will enjoy this place if casual is what you are looking for. We were just expecting something different that what we experienced.
We should give it a second try for sure before ruling it out as a option.

Hadnt been in awhile. Great variety. Food was very good. Had the BEST soup...cabbage, bacon. Didn't sound good but was DELICIOUS. ALL Staff friendly, courteous and made us feel very much at home. Waitress Erin was delightful. Wish I could remember bus boy's name..SUCH a well mannered young man. I believe we were there the 17th of May/25
Frequented this restaurant for many years and ownership change. Only one thing has remained constant...the parking lot is an embarrassment, it must date to the original construction. For patrons our age it is a fall hazard, something we fear and are always on alert to avoid.
My husband steak was perfectly rare but my chicken was dry. Service was extremely slow which was disappointing as they were not busy at all.
Outstanding Rib Eye. Aged beef cooked to perfection.
I am a food critic as I have owned restaurants. So last night was my birthday. I read some of the reviews and some were not so great. The food was fabulous. Best caesar dressing ever. My lobster was cooked to perfection. The time it took to get served was a tad slow, however, they had an event in the back. Our server, Jill, was amazing and very attentive. If you are looking for fast, go to Jack in the box. I am impressed, which is not easy to do, as I am also an amazing cook.
