It's Memorial Day weekend. They were really busy. It took over an hour to get our food. The waitress never checked on us or gave updates on our food. Additionally, I don't think their AC was working as it was very warm in there.
Nice place but food was lacking in flavor and service was terrible. Peggy's or Rusty's will treat you better and be more satisfying.
Fast friendly service! Food was fresh, and good flavor. Reasonably priced
Great experience! Loved the food! Very nice waitress with humor. Loved it there...
Usually a Favorite, But This Visit Was Off
We visited Sam's in Lake Havasu City last month, and while we’ve had great experiences here before, this visit missed the mark.
I came in early and was seated at a table that still had a tip left on it. A staff member removed it—which I understand—but the way it was handled felt a bit uncomfortable, like I might be suspected of taking it. Then another staff member seemed concerned about the missing tip, which delayed taking my drink order. The place was nearly empty, but the staff just seemed annoyed to be there.
I ordered the scrambled eggs, and they tasted like Egg Beaters—solid yellow with no whites at all, almost like boxed eggs. Not great. The biscuits and gravy I got were also disappointing—the biscuits tasted freezer-burned, and I stopped after a few bites. My wife ordered over-easy eggs and sausage, and unfortunately, she found a hair in her eggs. To their credit, the staff did take her meal off the bill.
One thing I’ve always liked about Sam’s is their great selection of flavored coffee creamers—that’s a nice touch.
We don’t want to bash the place because we’ve had great meals here before, but this day just wasn’t it. We’ll definitely give it another try, though.
food was phenomenal! got the ABC omlette yall gotta try it ! the server was also on top of things ! she deserves a raise very friendly. they also have added on an outside shaded seating area ! this is the place to eat if your staying at any of the hotels nearby !

The food was OK, but the place was not clean. Walls had old food splatter on them, and the salt and pepper shakers were filthy with grime. Waitress did her job but was not friendly.
