Food was ok. Seemed a little overpriced for the quantities. Went during brunch was not that busy. Ordered the empanadas appetizer came out at decent time. They were 5 small empanadas they were good just small bite size we were expecting the regular traditional size for the price. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive. The server was friendly.

This was our first time and we were met with wonderful heart felt Mexican hospitality. Mauricio our waiter was great and explained the dishes. We had the mole chilaquiles, chile rojo, and the molcajete and they were all amazing!
And let me not forget the cafe de olla which was the best I have had.
Mauricio you were amazing and we appreciate you!! We will be back!

As someone with origins from Southern Mexico, particularly close to Oaxaca, this place is as close to homemade as you can get in the USA. I stopped by this place when I visited Phoenix, and I will probably be back.

Second time visiting and second time being impressed. The margaritas and food were great both times. Husband had red chili pork and I had spinach and mushroom quesadillas. Kids both liked their meals. The restaurant was also willing to accommodate for vegetarians. Garrett took care of us with phenomenal service during both visits. We love the atmosphere and there was no wait. We’ll be back.

Mauricio was our server, welcomed us with great menu suggestions, brought back childhood memories with the authentic Mexican food by bringing back flavors from my grandmother’s recipes. Although sometimes the waitlist can be long, is well worth it. Once you try their mole or their chapulines will elevate your standards. Mauricio was on point with all our needs, super friendly and keeping a warm environment. Definitely recommend it for special occasions or just occasional breakfast.

Great food! The Cheesy Huevos Rancheros with chorizo was excellent! My wife had the Traditional and she loved it! They were busy and we had to wait a little for our food but defiantly with the wait. Friendly waitress as well.

We came here because of the reviews. People were waiting outside to get in, and we looked forward to what was expected. This was not authentic, and they tried to twist into something fancy shmancy. The mole negro is AMAZING! DELICIOUS! However the chicken breast it was poured over was hard dry and not edible. The empanadas were ok. The chilaquiles were not it. My coffee had no flavor, and it was cold. Waiter never came back. Everything but the black mole sucked.

I had chilaquiles, half red and half green, and a mocha. The chilaquiles are one of the best I have had in a long time in Arizona. The sauces had just the right kick, not super hot, not super mild. Every bite was crunchy and savory, I enjoyed it very much. My husband had the Poblano Scramble with chorizo and a coffee. He also enjoyed his meal as well. The atmosphere was welcoming, decorative, clean, and all so cute! The tables had little vase with fresh yellow daisies which I thought was a very nice touch. Our server came to our table often to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. To me that is important to me because I often don't think of something I want or need until after the fact 🤦🏽‍♀️. Old people problems 🤷🏻‍♀️. Absolutely recommend this place.

Been here a couple times for lunch with my daughter usually sit where ever we want but not today 11/15/2024
We asked to be seated I usually pick a table with four chairs big enough cuz I usually order a few things off the menu plus whatever my daughter orders. Well the young lady insisted to sit me in a small table for two which I told her no that I wanted one of the bigger tables that were available
She said no cuz they were for bigger parties
Seeing that there’s a few of the bigger tables available and there were bigger table with only two people sitting having lunch i insisted a bigger one
She called a young man who’s also an employee that told I can either sit at a small table or for me to leave
Never again will my family and I set foot in this place
