Dillon's has an interesting and fun atmosphere. It has a huge aquarium and live bands on some nights. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I ordered 2 brisket sandwiches, and both were dry and tasteless. It's a restaurant. At the end of the day, it's all about the food

Pathetic at best. Ok so no water. Bartender was so busy socializing that kept us waiting. Took her awhile to tell us kitchen was closed. We love dillons but never experienced this kind of service. She was more interested in regulars than serving us.

Great customer service, good eats!
Dillon’s coming back strong and for us today the experience was wonderful. I’ve been taking my kids here for well over a decade and my now grown kids still talk about the aquarium views while they ate. We haven’t been in so many years so we decided to stop by today with my teens after a few hours at the zoo. Service was friendly and we were seated within minutes on the patio. The menu had so many good options that it took us a minute to decide. We settled on there’s combo with coleslaw, Mac and cheese and a side of baked beans. We also ordered chicken tenders, fries and a bowl of the southwestern stew. Everything came out pretty quick and looked amazing! The ribs were falling off the bone, the pulled pork was to die for and with the Cajun bbq sauce …yum! The brisket was equally as good, but if I chose a favorite of the three mine would be the pork. All of the sides were good although the beans were too sweet for me so I probably wouldn’t order them again. The hit for is by far was the stew. It had a perfect kick! I could see eating that as a main meal with salad etc. with the large pieces of meat and all the flavor it was so satisfying on this little chilly of a day . It reminded me of a cozy dinner on a cold day at home. SO GOOD! The kids chicken tender meals came with 7/8 pieces and they had to take some home. They’re picky with their tenders so hearing them say they were good was great. Our server was wonderful, answered all of our questions and was patient with us while we tried to decide what to order. The view was awesome with the flamingos nearby. We’re already talking about going back.

Dillon's has good food and a fun atmosphere. Great place for old and young and alike. The zoo is also a wonderful place for young kids and those young at heart. If you're unable to walk for they have cute electric vehicles you can rent to ride around on.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes and you can rent vehicles to ride.

I have celiac disease and am very sensitive so it makes it difficult to eat out with family or friends at places that aren’t 100% gluten free. While they do not have a specific gluten free menu, they do offer options to be made gluten free. I tried the blacked out catfish sandwich with no bun and a baked potato. It was so dang delicious!! I called earlier in the day to ask about their gf options due to the reviews on Find Me GF, but the gentleman who answered was rude. Thankfully when my family and I arrived our server Ari was absolutely phenomenal! They were very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. They even went about offering the catfish meal I got as a cheaper option to what I was going to originally get. My family and I absolutely loved how attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable Ari was. I didn’t have any issues with eating here and I’m highly sensitive to cross contamination. I would definitely come back here to eat again.
(I HAVE NOT HAD A BAKED POTATO THAT WAS THAT DELICIOUS EVER! SO GOOD!)

The prime rib was way overcooked and not to my kids' liking. The beef ribs were overcooked as well. Not one server smiled or was super friendly, but the bus boy. I'm never going to waste my money here again. I'm extremely disappointed. Sticking to dillions Western Trail or texas Roadhouse.

Had an early lunch here today, and it couldn't have been worse. They should never be allowed to use the phrase "KC barbecue" again. The ribs were dry and tasted like chicken and there was barely any sauce on it. There was no sauce on the table and it cost more to get any. The "burnt ends" were neither burnt nor ends. Just crappy chunks of meat with some sauce to cover up the lack of flavor. This was easily the worst bbq I've ever been served at any restaurant. The serving of fries wasn't big enough to feed a 3-year-old. Oh yeah, way over priced, too. The beans were OK and the fish tank was cool, but overall, this place SUCKED. Extremely disappointing.

Ordered take out and the food was like they took it from a cart out in the zoo...old limp greasy fries, fried mushrooms that were so undercooked the breading fell off when you touched them, then the burgers had no lettuce or tomato or onions and we actually paid for grilled onions on the burger. Sad cause we liked this place but with the casino going to have more options I think Dillons will lose most customers soon.
