Tacos Chilango

Worst food ever. I seriously wouldn’t feed this cheap fatty carne to my dog. Ordered a carne torta. Spit half of it out into napkins, took a bite out of the other half and spit that out also. Wife ordered 2 carne tacos with cheese, they were so greasy they literally fell apart. The food boat had like an inch of oil. It was disgusting. Asked for a manager, dude came over and said there was no manager but that he was the longest employee there on the line. Explained everything to him, showed him, and he tells us that’s the way their Mexican food is and that people love it (as it was 6pm dinner hr and only 1 other person in the restaurant). Daughter had a cheese quesadilla. The guac was sour also. $50 for dog food. Never again. Dude said sorry but never offered us any compensation. Told us to come back and talk to the owner who was out of town.

This place is legit Mexican food. I just moved here in Litchfield Park was looking for an AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food spot this is the closes to homemade Mexican Food from Scratch. I giggle recommend for anyone to come check it out for themselves. All other places is more New Mexican style which is NOT Mexican. Must come today if want Mexican food

I’ve been coming to this place since it opened and always loved it, but after our last visit, I’m not sure we’ll be back. We came in on a Sunday evening, and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had here. The young woman working up front was rude, dismissive, and made it very clear she didn’t want to help us.

When I asked simple questions about menu items, she gave us the infamous “Gen Z stare,” rolled her eyes, and acted like we were wasting her time. I still thanked her for her help, but instead of acknowledging us, she shoved the receipt at us without saying a single word. The second we walked away, she started laughing and joking with her coworkers.

This is unacceptable. Cashiers are the face of the business, and if customers can’t even ask questions without being met with eye rolls and an attitude, it leaves a terrible impression. We’ve always supported this spot, but that kind of service makes us question whether it’s worth coming back.

Love their food and being able to buy a pound of meat for tacos that comes with tortillas, beans, rice and all the salsas and fixings is such a great deal and it always tastes great!!

Best Birria Tacos in town. So flavorful and juicy. You can pop them in the air fryer and make them crispy. Definitely worth the price.
