Nice small restaurant in a small town.

This place is alright. It’s small, but very friendly. It’s one of two restaurants open early in the morning in mammoth. This is important when traveling early. Nothing fancy, food is good. The prices are a little high, but you are in the isolated town of mammoth. If you like humble, no frills places, this might be your spot. Also, they have beer. Small. Just a few tables inside. A bit of a wait but good plain food. Good tamales. I had a breakfast burrito and it was good. My friend got a tamale and we all shared it to try. It was beef with good flavor, not too spicy.

Horrible service, food is expensive as heļľ and doesn't taste as good as it should for being so expensive. Was also about 80 degrees inside the restaurant. Waited over 45 minutes for a simple hamburger and tacos whenever the place was about empty. Do NOT recommend coming here.

I called them and placed an order for two chicken torta sandwiches. My husband picked it up for me and was surprised that It came to $26 for two sandwiches, which was $13 a piece. How expensive and it did not come with fries. The lady who took my order was very rude when I asked what happened to the fries. That will cost more she daid. This place is a ripoff.

Prior to my last visit I really liked this place but didn't have a good experience this time. Will go back but not for a while. Hopefully my next visit will be like it was before.
