Chop, Block & Brew at Harrah's Ak-Chin

This was our third time eating at Chop and Brew. My favorite is their lollipop lamb chops with pistachio chimichurri sauce, ask for medium cooked to perfection. This time as a side I had mushroom orzo absolutely yummy. Hubby had Clam Chowder and Mac and Cheese, if it had been me having the Mac and Cheese I would have added the lobster side. The City of Maricopa is really lacking in really upscale restaurants and we are so very glad we found Chop and Brew for our date nights out.

Service was great, food was great.... however we were seated next to the food prep . I didn't even know those seats were there. My Friend has hearing aides and the noise level was awful. We have eaten there many times and there were lots of empty tables. Overall miserable evening.

We had to ask another waitress for help getting another drink. Our waiter was having social hour.

Food way too salty and too much butter. Really wanted pepper but couldn't attract a server so did without. Had much better food there before. Other than that just satisfactory.

We started off with a couple cocktails and shots of Don Julio 1942, which was fabulous . The prime rib fondue was great. My husband and I had the prime rib, blackened with cauliflower au gratin. My granddaughter and her husband had the French onion soup with a ribeye and mashed potatoes also the short ribs and the asparagus. The food and atmosphere was so great that we continue to order more shots of Don Julio‘s 1942 and a bottle of wine. Chop block and brew is one of our favorite restaurants to go to when visiting Harris's auction . If you have never been here before, you should make it a point to go at least once an experience, the a great food and ambience.

Food was not good, we have loved this place for years. The quality was poor and prices were high. We got seafood pasta and pasta with steak and Caesar salad. The seafood pasta had 2 big shrimp and sparse seafood footbridge no salad or bread. Was $61 for that and taste was bland. The steak pasta, steak was hard and chewy, tasted like steak they didn't sell they cut up in all different sizes and throw it in with noodles. $42 for this. Ate 1/3 of it and left hungry. Server kept water filled, he would run by and make sure things were ok but never actually stopped.

Meal and service was excellent, however we were given a table notification vibrator that was dead and never got the message our table was ready. I went up to check our 7 pm reservation 35 minutes later and found out our disc was not working. Didn't even offer an apology.

I love everything the staff the food the greatest friendly people there Appreciate it, The waitress have very cool sense of humor ,

Our waitress, Megan, was wonderful. Chop Block and Brew is our go to restaurant when we visit Ak-Chin. We always get an excellent meal and great service.

We have been at this restaurant before and enjoyed it, however this trip we found the restaurant noisy especially the kitchen where it sounded like clanging pots and pans dropped !! My wife had the Vegan Cauliflower Steak which she thought was excellent, I had a lobster tail which I found tasted bland and “ rubber like” our sides of Vegetables was perfect...

We had the Bone in Ribeye Steak with baked potato. They were perfectly cook to medium rare. Very tasty! We have eaten at the Chop Block and Brew twice now enjoying both times.

This is a wonderful steakhouse that is comfortable and the food is top-notch. The choices are limited, but always delicious!

Was surprised .......as the online menu was different from the menu we received. The changed/new selections on the restaurant menu in house were interesting. I tried a beef & pasta dish which was very good and was a large amount. My sister tried the new chicken pasta dish which was also very good and a large portion. The squash & cheese side dish we tried was very tasty also but could've been a bit larger. There were a couple other new items we will try the next time we go. Dining at Chop Block has always been a treat for us!

Excellent food and service ! Generous portions and perfectly cooked steaks. Lobster tail was delicious!

Chop Block were on their game last night. Great service and food. My husband had the meatloaf that he really enjoyed; he said he would definitely order it again. I had the chopped salad which was huge and very good. Any meal that you order I recommend you order the house bread too. It's Delicious!!
