Cilantros Mexican Cocina

2/6/2024 UPDATE: I think today will be my last day going to Cilantros or I won’t go as often maybe every couple of months instead of every week. The salsa cups are half the size, trays are half the size, the sour cream is watered down, the steak is chopped extremely tiny now and doesn’t have any flavor, the green chili pork is not tasteful like it was. Somethings going on. There’s a big change and I don’t like it. Bring the flavor back to the food and stop downsizing everything but raising the price. The only thing that's good is the most of the good staff is still there. Ashly will be missed.

EVERYTHING about this place is GREAT, starting with most of the girls. I love walking in here and receiving good food and good service from the familiar staff. THEY MAKE THIS PLACE GREAT. I think I come in here because of them and then the food. Keep up the great work, girls👌🏾💪🏾

You do have one bad apple that works the day shift. I won't come in the morning because she's nasty and rude and always have a mean face and talking crap under breath. Very Plain 5-3 stars. Even the nacho cheese is watered down.

This is the first stopover anything in Maricopa.

One of the best spots in Maricopa for Mexican Food! Flavor is amazing, the salsa is spicy :), and the service is fast. Burritos, bowls , plates prepared in front of your eyes.

Ordered through the website and when I got home with the order it was wrong I paid an additional 7 dollars for my burrito to be wet and with guacamole and didn’t receive either on my burrito. I called and talked to a worker and she was unable to help so I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager is too busy to talk to me. The service was HORRIBLE. This is extremely disappointing. The Manager should be the one handling these calls not telling the worker to say that they are to busy.

Best most delicious absolutely authentic Mexican food. The caldo de res was amazing! The pork tamale was just like my Nana’s. The staff Jenni, Anna and Diana were attentive friendly and amazing! Definitely the right place that hit the spot!

Better than Chipotle.

Red menudo, green chicken enchiladas, beans and posole are the only dishes I've tried & 😋 👌 wow. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor, promptness, accuracy aaaaaannnd the price! If I'm not cooking I'll be ordering from Cilantros! Cheers to you Cilantros, I'll be seeing you soon!

I'm torn. I'm sitting here with a very large and tasty burrito but not enough salsa to enjoy it. Their fastidious dedication to their "2 salsa cups per burrito" hard limit is maddening. In a day where better mexican spots (nod to you, Tacos Calafia) have an open salsa bar, the fact that Cilantros will refuse to give you so much as 1 additional side of salsa is honestly unforgivable. 2 sides of salsa is only enough for a person who doesn't actually like salsa, or mexican food, or happiness. I would be understanding if they would at minimum offer to sell you additional sides of salsa for a nominal fee, but they don't. You can only purchase a large bucket of their salsa should you need an additional drop extra. Is the food good? Yes, for Maricopa, the food is tasty, and the salsa is good. Will this salsa policy be enough for me to not return? Also yes.

I ordered through Uber eats and this restaurant gave me 3 salsas half filled. How are 3 people supposed to properly have food with 2 green salsas and 1 red (half filled). Goto local food trucks instead they hook it up and taste better than this place. Before this was my last resort restaurant when they were closed. Guess I'll have to go to Rili Bs instead.

The employees are always great! Happy, smiling, and you can tell they enjoy working there. And if the employees are happy at work, the customer will always receive great service.
Also, the food has always been outstanding. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty.
When I think of takeout Mexican food, Cilantro's is always the first choice on my mind.
