Slim Chickens

First time to try this restaurant. The chicken tender baskets were delicious! We got the sauce on the side in case it was too hot. The buffalo was perfect heat and the garlic parmesean delicious! We will be back to try some other selections.

This is probably one of the worse fast food places in Maricopa! Honestly just go to McDonald’s no the food isn’t better but you will pay half the price of what you pay here! You pay more at slims and get McDonald’s type food cold and nasty and the service isn’t that great either! Save your money or just go to Walmart to make it yourself at home this place isn’t worth the anything and I honestly hope they close and put something better there! We need a chick fil a or raising Cane’s can take their spot because slims don’t want it at all! You’ve been warned this place is a waste of space and money! I have given them countless times to improve but there aren’t interested so I’m not interested in investing anymore money to them! I will be happy when I see permanently closed on their google page because it’s coming!

Update: BE AWARE FOOD IS EXPENSIVE AND NASTY! THEY DON’T BELIEVE IN GOOD QUALITY FOOD HERE THEY WOULD RATHER TALK AMONGST EACH OTHER AND BE ON THEIR PHONES AND GET ANNOYED WHEN THEY HAVE A CUSTOMER! 9 months later and still just as bad as they were before if not worse! No improvements at all! At this point I don’t think they know what fresh hot food is! They serve old cold food and are happy with themselves! It’s never busy there because the food isn’t worth the price at all!! They are expensive trash food and that’s being nice! Only thing I ordered was fries and they were so old and nasty even after I went back in to get fresh hot fries got slightly hotter fries but still old and nasty! This is truly a disgrace!!

When we first moved back here we truly enjoyed going to slims and it was a plus that they are so close in distance to our home. But I would say these last few months they have fallen short the quality of the food has gone down tremendously! The service is a hit or miss sometimes you have good service other times it’s not great at all. Sometimes you wait 20 mins for your food other times it’s ready before you get your drink the sad part is either way the food is just never fresh or good anymore! Lately the food as but nothing but misses very disappointing slims had great potential but I truly don’t see them last long after chick fil an opens. Not worth the price of their food at all!

Service really needs a 100/10. First time here. Food was quick and tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend. Kendria checked on us and was such a doll. Really enjoyed talking to her. Made it feel like we were at a high end restaurant. The place was immaculate. We will be back!

I never intended to leave a review regarding my experience until I saw a recent review with the same issue. The fact that it wasn't a one off is concerning. Last time I was here was Dec 2024. Now every time I think of this place it literally makes me nauseous. I ordered a sweet tea and just like another recent review, I took a big gulp of warm, thick, and slimy of what I assume was mold. I'm gagging just writing this. After that I couldn't look at this place again. However it's been a long time and I'm thinking of going back which is why I gave it 2 stars. The food was never terrible. It was just the experience with the sweet tea that kept me from going back. Let's just say I will never touch a tea here, but I'll give the food another shot. Regardless the fact that it has happened more than once is unacceptable.

First time at this location in Maricopa, Arizona. I've been to Slim Chicken in Owensboro, Kentucky and had great experiences. So I was thrilled to see that there are locations here in the Southwest.

The service is always outstanding! Warning greeted, far, professional and fresh.

The restaurant is always very clean and presentable. Clean bathrooms, tables, floors and the diner smells good.

If you like Cane's chicken, this is actually BETTER. Much bigger variety of meals, desserts, and specials. You won't be disappointed

Ordered a side salad tonight that 1, had tomatoes when I asked for no tomatoes, and 2, most of the lettuce had brown and slimy edges. I couldn't eat it.

The grilled chicken was okay, the other sides were good, (as told to me by other family members). I just wasn't terribly enthused about my meal this time. Since I was trying to consume less fat, completely tossing out the salad meant half of my meal was lost.

Very sad. Ordered grilled with no bread due to gluten allergy. Realized it was breaded when I got home. Be sure to double check your items. Disappointed and sad:(
