I ate the house salad with homemade blue cheese,, (I’ve tried many types of blue cheese) and their blue cheese was a culinary art of high standard. The house salad also had many ingredients mixed into it and was also impressive. With the blue cheese being thick, I would dip my fork into the blue cheese first before collecting as much salad as the rest of the fork could hold. There’s not a lot of pizza in mayer area or really any sit down restaurants at all. Honestly, we don’t need any other pizza spots. This one is great and I think the pizza tastes even better because, there’s heart and soul put into it. if you go in when it’s not so busy the owners make it a point to meet you and with a great conversation you can see they put so much love into their craft. We live north of Mayer and instead of heading towards the bigger towns we come here!...
So glad we decided to try Pillar of Fire Pizza!!! AWESOME PIZZA?!!! I can't stress enough how good it was!! My family & I absolutely loved it! Pillar Of Fire will now be our go to place for pizza! Can't wait to also try the other food they have to offer! If your in the area passing through, or a local here in town, please give them a try!! You *WILL NOT* be disappointed!! As a matter of fact, we'll be ordering another pizza today & trying the garlic breadsticks!...
