Had a wonderful 3 nights at the cabins. It was our 25th anniversary! Shout out to Kathy & Rosie. Lots of new improvements. Can't wait to go back.

We've driven past this place a bunch of times. Today we decided to go there on the spur of the moment for an early dinner.

Since it was a Sunday afternoon, there was no live music and it wasn't crowded, which suited us fine.

NOTE FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES: When you enter the building, you must descend a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant. Alternatively, you can walk down a fairly steep asphalt ramp on the east side of the building and enter through the restaurant's back door. There are no railings on the ramp.

My husband had the "Copper": Prime rib and Swiss cheese on a 6" hoagie roll with a side of au jus ($16.99). The side he chose was onion rings with honey mustard sauce.

I had the "Smoke Stack": Slow cooked BBQ pulled pork on a brioche bun with a side of pickles and extra BBQ sauce ($12.99). I chose a side salad with ranch dressing.

Both were fresh and tasty. My husband said the onion rings were especially good, and he brought several home to eat with tomorrow night's leftovers.

For dessert, my husband had cherry cobbler and I had a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and both chocolate and caramel syrups. The brownie was enormous, and half of it came home for tomorrow night.

The total with tax and tip was $70. The service was prompt and friendly. Also the view was beautiful (see photo). We will definitely be back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can descend down the asphalt ramp on the east side of the building and enter through the restaurant's rear door. If entering through the main entrance, the restaurant is reached via a staircase.

For the prices of the food, this place really needs to step it up a notch. you are in mayer Arizona not Phoenix or Prescott and you are charging more than some places even down there or in Prescott the food is always frozen it is not homemade especially the Fish Fry which comes in the exact square nuggets such a turn off the waitresses are good But Rose is tired and dine! You can tell that she is tired and just not into it anymore, we will walk in and sit there for 20 minutes before She says hello to us and because we might not be her table she won't even give us drinks It is also very loud in the restaurant portion, the seating is uncomfortable,Damon is NOT an amazing "chef" I don't think this place is going to last unless you read You are reviews and listen to your customers which is the only reason why you're open

The Cellar is absolutely adorable. The staff is super friendly and efficient.

The place is clean, bright and cute, with large back windows where you can enjoy the nice backyard area (which also looks to have seating).

The food was average. I had the primerib sandwich with aus jus. The meat was more like a roast beef and was a dry even with the aus jus. My boyfriend's hamburger was more well cooked than requested but had good flavor. His mac and cheese side was watery and lacked a cheese taste.

Tip - walk out the backdoor to enjoy the backyard area and take the gently sloping driveway back to the front parking lot instead of fighting back up the inside stairs. Easier and more pleasant!

Creekside and the Cellar are a great, romantic getaway. Well kept, clean and the atmosphere are great. Then you have space to get away from any crowd as you go to your own private cabin.
