Excellent food! Excellent service and character. We had a HUGE party of over 40. It was an incredible experience and will go back many more times. I lived in AZ over 40 years and never knew it existed! I'm sad as I would have been a constant guest! Can hardly wait to go back! Just a really cool place!!!

My husband and I stopped for breakfast.I had an omelette - Swiss cheese, ham, onions and green peppers. Very good! We both had ordered our hash browns crispy with onion and they were done perfectly. My husband had over medium eggs and sausage patties. The sausage was excellent! We’re only camping nearby for a month but will definitely be back!

Went on valentines day. Made a reservation for 645pm. We get there and we wait patiently. Somehow the 7 pm reservations got seated before us. Thats fine accidents happen. But it gets worse from there. We get seated and 20 minutes later we are barely able to order our drinks. I also ordered our appetizer. Thank goodness we did. The mozzarella cheese sticks were hot and amazing. A long wait later we get to place our food order. Pretty simple a hot dog, bacon cheese burger with fries, and a 10oz sirloin with a loaded baked potato and side house salad. While we are waiting there are 10ish tables out of that 10, 5-6 already had their food.It took them 4 trips to bring our food out. Also the "manager" told me as my cold food is being served to us that they are out of baked potatoes, what would i like instead so i ordered fries. As im looking at my plate with food i didnt order, im wondering what else is wrong with our food. So i went to the bar to request i speak to a manager. Yes i went full karen. I saw her tell another employee that i wanted to speak to the manager. We waited 10 minutes before i got up again so i relayed my complaint to the sweet bar tender. As im walking back another waitress asks if we want a box i told her we arent happy. We explain everything to her and told her we just wanted to leave. I even asked her what doea my order look like she relays an 8 oz sirloin with green beans and fries. I ordered a 10 oz sirloin with house salad and fries (since they ran out of baked potatoes) She acknowledged us, listened and let us leave. They said they were slammed but when we got to the dinning room there was about 10 tables with couples there. We were told to come back when it isnt so busy to give them another chance.100% wont do it.Its sad that everyone has raved about this place but OUR first visit was beyond disappointing.Best advice is go when they arent busy to get the true experience of this place.

This place could be the hidden gem of Arizona if they would only pick up their game and professionalism. Seems everything is just half way. Ordered all you can eat grilled fish, 1st serving spot on. Next one or two, raw everytime. So sad because it could be great. By comparison Greasewood flat was way better.

For a restaurant and hotel practically in the middle of Nowhere, Arizona, it's pretty good. The service is great - friendly and quick, but I was there in the off-season, so YMMV. The food is so-so, but again, it was the off-season, so I'm guessing that the quality would improve in the on-season. I had the Swiss and mushroom burger on one day (I think they called it the "Swiss me like you mean it") and the chicken fried steak the next. Not bad, but not great, either. The portions are extremely generous, so come hungry.

On a whim we drove here from Prescott -- we drive past this place frequently and the reviews sealed the deal. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Wife had the Chile Verde Burger and I had the " Copper sandwich" both of which were quite tasty. The stairs down to the "Cellar" were long, but they do have a golf cart for those who cannot do stairs.
