First time there felt welcome they had a warm fire going had a bario blond on tap a favorite the menu was and choices of burgers sides we had the chili burger and sweet potato fries homemade chili had to try had great conversation about the zoo and how the The Thirsty Lizard got it name friends joined us great food and atmosphere something we haven't had in a long time nice to know a place we can go to and be treated great have good food and drinks.
Went back to Douglas for a visit. Buddy of mine said lets go have a drink. We pull up to The Thirsty Lizard and I think, yep I can enjoy a place like this. Looks like a cool bar from outside. Order a few drinks. Hour or so later we order some food and couple more beers. Burgers are thick and juicy. Onion rings were killer. Beers are ice cold. About 2 hours later feeling like I have to leave but hey a band started playing so I cant walk out on that. Great music. awesome people....
David the owner is an awesome person and his service is top notch. He is an owner that believes in taking care of his customers. I would not have it any other way. Wish other locals would do the same it’s just about how much money you spending and very small portion. Go to the Lizard and try the burgers and than tell me if they are great. Thanks for taking care of us and my friends when we go there. Borderland GMC Crew
