Haven't eaten here yet. Why?

Tayler Gomez

Ive never eaten here, and wont eat here after what I witnessed today. I came here to pick up a grub hub order. I stood around looking for someone that works there to come out, I saw a man cutting chicken in the back with bare hands and I said hello a few times and no response. As he was cutting the chicken he had dropped some on the floor, he bent down, picked it up and threw it in the bowl and started to season it.When I finally got his attention I told him I had a Grub hub order. He barked out he just got the otder 10 minutes ago and it wouldn't be ready for another 40 minutes for whatever reason.

Coming form Cali, persian food is amazing everywhere, not too many places in Arizona that serve amazing persian food. And if there are a couple I can say they are all the way in Scottsdale so it's a 30-40 min drive for us. Found this hole in the wall Gem through DoorDash! Probably the beet koonbide I have ever had. And that is saying a lot since I have tried 100 different places in SoCal. This will trump the koobideh hands down. So if you are ordering koobideh wirh white rice and kashkeh bademjoon. Amazing food at an amazing value. Highly recommended them.

We have been guests from Oregon. The restaurant was close. Owner opened his restaurant for us, and hosted us so friendly like his family. Rarely you see nice Peale like Masood. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing

Ghorbeh Sabzi was spectacular. As was the koobideh. Honestly, the entire meal was fantastic. Large portions was the cherry on top!

Thanks for ruining Christmas you Grinch!!! A Persian wise man once said "Never trust a Restaurant that does not offer Tadiq" I would give it zero stars if I could. It is unbelievable that this location is still in business. I can't attest to the quality of the food. I would have loved too but we never ate there and never will. I never even got to that part. I live in Gilbert on the corner of Power and Pecos and wanted to order person food on a very special occasion. On March 20th, it is considered Persian New Year, a combination of Christmas and New Year rolled up into one. So you can see it is a pretty big day. It is also a great time to hand down traditions from the old country so that my two children will never forget their lineage and still honor and respect their ancestry. Let me put it in context, imaging you have your family over for Christmas. You decided not to cook but order a nice holiday meal. You order the food , pay , and then patiently wait for the food to be ready. You drive 14 miles (not freeway) to pick the food. This is where the s**t show begins but some say it started the second we googled and found the place. My wife walked in and waited a good 10 minutes for someone just to come up to the counter. She was then told that they ran out of the food and did not fulfill the order. the interesting part is that we ordered a Soltani. This consists of Filet Mignon (I highly doubt if they even use the right cut of meat) and Koobiday (ground beef). This is literally the top two items most people order. It is like going to Dominoes and they're like " sorry, we are out of pizza. No call to tell us, no email, nothing. The credit card had already been processed. no apology, nothing. I get where in are in society with Covid and everyone struggling and life being difficult, blah blah, blah. But had nothing to do with that. Just pure incompetence in my humble opinion. Now drive back home with a room full of hungry family members and tell them NO, there will not be a Christmas dinner this year. The planned 6pm dinner resulted in us having In and Out at around 8pm. We made the best of it and a In n Out Christmas Dinner was not too bad ( I am from Los Angeles, and Persian restaurants are on every corner like Circle K's here. I have also been in the Restaurant business for a long time including front and back office. Soooo, let me give you some pro tips (taking in these tips will catapult your business from "we should be closed permanently to mediocre instantly) 1. buy a cheap bell and have it on the counter. Being short staff is not the issue. The inability to mitigate any bad customer service is. This will allow you to assist in the back yet be available immediately when a patron arrives. 2. Assess your supplies for the ebbs of flows of the business. One might deem it reasonable that there may be a surge on March 20th. A day where Persian/middle eastern restaurants will inevitably see a surge because it is the greatest holiday of the year for them. 3. Create a limited menu to handle more orders. Your budget cannot handle the supplies needed to fulfill 100% of items on the menu. What you should do is remove least ordered items from the menu and purchase additional products for the most ordered items 4. Have a competent person that can handle counter orders, phone orders, and online orders. All should be treated the same. If you cant fulfill the order, immediately handle what should come next. 5. Watch every Gordon Ramsey show every created. What I described is literally the beginning of every episode. I can go on and on about how to assist your business but work on the 4 items above and reach out to me for more. I want you to succeed but at this rate, I am not sure. Now, if you want some real Persian Food, I would highly Suggest going to Persian Room Fine Dining in Scottsdale. Priced about the same but is where the comparison ends. Imagine Ruth Chris Steak House versus Arby's (I love Arbys so I am not knocking them in any sort of way). I would stay far away from this place if I we

It is out of the way but this place has amazing Persian food. The portions are generous and I highly recommend joiner kabob, beef koobideh and the saffron rice is on point. I didn't know this but they also serve Vietnamese food. How awesome is that? Haven't tried the Vietnamese food do I will go back to try.

The food is excellent and well marinated,it's only for to go. Definitely it's not a Halal food and it's a positive thing. The owner he is a great Persian guy who knows how to cook Persian food. If You do try once than I promise you will go there over and over.
