Having experienced and enjoyed homemade Filipino cooking, I must say Chef and Co-owner Liza Obregon shows she learned her craft a home. Her and her Husband Carlito’s home cooking spot is an unobtrusive, clean, neat and nicely appointed eatery that does not overwhelm the senses so the patron can thoroughly enjoy and accomplish the expectations set, and its fulfillment of the outcome. She’s like your Mom when you meet her, gracious, sweet and very outgoing – she makes you feel like you’re part of the family even before eating your victuals. Delicious, well prepared, homestyle and terrific are the words that come to me while munching away at the pork adobo with rice dish I had at my first encounter. In of itself, the adobo is worth going back for, over and over again! If you enjoy and love traditional Filipino food, this is the place for you. I am looking forward to coming back to try other of their extensive menu of eats like Tapsilog, Lomi, Kare Kare, or Pata, just to mention a few of the extensive list on their menu board. Chef Obregon, kudos, well wishes and you can expect this lover of Filipino food to keep coming back, as well as everyone out there. Bon appétit or better said ‘lasapin mo ang pagkain’. See you soon Chef!

Visited Mesa on a business trip. Hubby and I were craving Filipino food and this was the closest place to where we were. SOOOO happy that we found it! Food was so good! I'm very judgmental because who cooks better Filipino food than my mom ? no one! But everyone says that about their mom's cooking... I digress. I called ahead and sadly, they were out of lumpia (and it wasn't even lunch time yet). So we ordered the pork sisig (no regrets Bc it's one of the tastiest sisig I've ever had) and of course, my favorite, sinigang, which their recipe closely resembles my mom's. We took it to go, but it took about 45 minutes so we had to kill some time. When we got there, the Filipino kid at the register handed us our food. We asked him if they had calamansi juice and he asked, "what's that?" So if you're looking for calamansi juice at a Filipino restaurant, this one doesn't know what it is lol When we got back, I realized that they didn't give us any vinegar and soy sauce for the sisig. LUCKILY, our AirBnB was stocked so that I could mix my own. Overall, 4 stars!

My Filipina mom visited from out of town and so we have to swing by here so she can get her fix. Born and raised in Manila and she said it was awesome and very authentic and delicious! (and she's usually a tough critic) As the American-raised son, I can also vouch that it is 5/5! Salamat!

Keep in mind if you come in the summer they keep the restaurant very hot for Arizona standards. The ac was on 87. When I asked if they can turn it down they said they keep it on the temperature for a reason. A hot spot for bacteria breading grounds.

Authentic Filipino food ...my go to for pancit guisado. My only complaint is that if I want to eat here I would have to go on a weekend because they are only open when I’m working. I would order takeout from here more often after work if they had longer business hours.

Sisig is amazing and staff make you feel like family! Mango nectar is delicious and their garlic fried rice looks delicious, I'll have to try breakfast next ?

Dropped by and ordered their sizzling sisig. We've never had sisig before, but the ingredients sounded perfect together. It was so delicious! It maybe one of our favorite dishes, and also our go-to Filipino restaurant. The owners are so friendly and kind. The restaurant is very clean. Can't wait to try their other dishes, and of course order their sisig next time we're in the area again.

This is a hidden gem. We're happy to have found Filipino food while visiting Phoenix! We had:- Biscol Express- Pompano Sinigang- Pork Sisig- Lumpia- Halo haloEverything was decent. The meat in biscol dish could be more tender. The sinigang was saltier than I'd like, it was eating away at the delicious tart flavors in sinigang. The lumpia's were phenomenal-- tiny and crunchy! The highlight for our entire group was the halo halo. I've had halo halo in the Philippines and I'd say this rival some of the street vendors. I wish they added just a little less shaved ice and a larger piece of flan.I highly recommend this business. The owner / cashier, was so friendly. We enjoyed her company.
