Was there 2 months ago, it was a disaster. Waited almost 45 minutes to get a table even tho there was tables and booths empty. Waited another 15 min. for a waiter, and about 40 minutes for our food. They weren't that busy. Tonight was the same, and the booth was freezing as the ac blew on us constantly. Had our coats on and wife had hood up. Saw people waiting for pickup orders for 30 to 40 minutes. Chicken parmesan was not very good. Never will we go back.

The food here is always good, but the beer coolers are not working properly so all the bottled beer was warm...yuck! We would have stayed for another drink, but couldn't bear it.

It was spaghetti night, which is usually on Monday and Tuesdays. So you would have thought that the service and the food coming out would be quick. It was not. We were there for almost an hour and a half before we got our food. There was not enough help or the staff that was there was not efficient. We even sat at the bar to get faster service and the people around us who were there after us got their food before we did. The spaghetti was good, meatballs burnt, and the service sucked

We found hairs in one of dishes we ordered. I called the restaurant and asked for the manager. She said her name was Jin or Jen. Her immediate response to what I told her was that there isn't anyone back there with hair. She immediately thought I was liar. This restaurant is not only DIRTY but the management in particular is deceptive and obviously doesnt care her restaurant is dirty, she chose to try and cover up the dirtieness with telling me there was no one there with hair. Implying I was lying.

We loved the couples special. We each got a glass of wine, a small salad and a pasta dish. Love that you are keeping costs affordable. Thank you. The service was very good. People were friendly. We will recommend and we will be back. Food was delicious and plentiful.

This Babbo’s location has gone downhill quickly. What used to be a nice Italian restaurant is now terrible with horrible service and food, subpar at most! Watered down drinks and microwaved food. Very disappointing.
Used to be a great place to eat. Now it’s very poor service and the food is not good. Picture is food on the floor the staff kept walking past. It was not busy. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Tuesday night is spaghetti and meatball special for under $10 you can't beat it unfortunately it does get very busy especially in the winter season with all the snowbirds. Service was terrible unfortunately she kept forgetting our drinks and just wasn't on top of things but other than that it was good and typically the service is good I don't know if she was just overwhelmed but all in all I recommend going on Tuesday.

This was my first time to Babbo. I was with a party of nine and we had a nice time! We made a reservation and were given a large table to sit at (being Sunday night it was pretty empty). Drinks and complimentary bread were handed out quickly - and not only was the fresh bread delicious, but addictive as well. Refills came quickly, often without the need to be asked first. It did take a little time for our food to come - I think it was nice not to feel rushed in a restaurant so if you're not in a rush then this is the place for you. Everyone enjoyed their food and most of us took home leftovers. But the main reason I wanted to write a review was to give a shout out to our waiter John. He was so mild-mannered and humble and yet he took care of us like a pro. He was attentive to our needs, answered our questions, and demonstrated exemplary kindness to our large group. So many restaurants lack good customer service so to see such a hardworking young individual really impressed all of us. Thank you John for helping us tonight!

Very disappointed in their food. Out dishes, were supposed to have penne pasta, but they were made with over cooked Rotini and one dish that should have penne was a mixture of rotini and linguine. When I asked the server why all the dishes were made with the wrong pasta, his answer was I don’t know it’s the cooks mistake, and he had no explanation for the mixed pasta in the one dish. It’s a shame that the quality Has gotten that bad at this restaurant it used to be a good restaurant to eat at. But we will no longer eat there. Our bill was $147.00 We should’ve been served much better food than that. A big disappointment.

I recently visited Babbo Italian Eatery in Mesa with my girlfriend, and we had a wonderful experience. The Italian cuisine was authentic and delicious, with perfectly cooked pasta and flavorful sauces. The waiter was attentive and helpful, guiding us through the menu and making excellent recommendations. Booking our table through OpenTable was quick and easy, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. We really enjoyed the warm ambiance and the overall hospitality of the restaurant.
